I recall playing Fallout 3 and having plenty of unique experiences to share with friends, and vice versa.
At 1000 planets, even with “only” 10% of them with life, Starfield is pretty much bound to provide a similar sandbox for water cooler discussion.
In contrast, I’m gonna likely feel more compelled to clip out actual gameplay for Spider-Man 2.
Yah, but it sounds easier to optimize for the machine with the twice-as-fast SSD, and NOT the machine with 12% stronger GPU…
I’ll keep this simple:
Dozens of games on ps5 are more visually impressive than Scorn, hands down. To even list Scorn as a contender speaks volumes about Xbox’s lack of AAA content for the XsX so far.
And Gran Turismo cancels out Forza so to speak, imo, especially with VR as an option.
Xbox has had less for over a decade now, and to argue otherwise at this point is delusional.
Finish Ratchet and Clank on a decent TV, with RT, and tell me it doesn’t look like a Pixar movie.
Better yet, tell me what looks THAT good on Xbox.
I’ve looked for the best, and Demons Souls and Ratchet and Clank look better than anything on either console, as far as I know.
And, Returnal has a few impresses moments as well.

If they continue to grow at this pace, then the ps5 is posed to be their best gen yet.
All console gens are the weakest during the first 3 years, except for the rare case with Halo and OG Xbox back in the day.
Go try Returnal if you haven’t, consider getting a PSVR2 if you don’t already. Those two things alone have made me very, very happy.
Spider-Man 2 looks great…. If Xbox didn’t buy Zenimax 2 years ago, then we’d be waiting until 2024 for them to compete with Spidey.

If Sony and Nintendo can launch the PS5 and Switch with games, then so can Xbox with the sX.
How do you think this works, devs don’t get the console until the consumers? Haa! It’s called devkits YEARS in advance, and nobody produced anything with the devkits for the sX and sS, but they did for Sony and Nintendo.
That isn’t an accident, Xbox simply failed where their competitors succeeded.
