ever heard of parody? or this magical thing called a joke? you should try it
Lets also ban comedians then, because what they say on stage must 100% undeniably be their personal view on life and not for the purpose of entertainment.
Because it costs time and manpower. Implementing raytracing is not as simple as flipping a switch.
Imagine how many versions of a game they must make to cater to everyone. Ps5, ps5 performance, ps5 raytracing, the eventual ps5 pro version with and without raytracing.
Compromises need to be made at some point to not let the workload get out of hand. Also the best versions of raytracing cost a ton of graphical power and even AMD new gpu line doesnt perform...
@boing following your logic if i create a smaller tesla or any smaller version of an existing product im being an innovator?
yeah, its obviously parody/sarcasm cranked up to the max. Watched a youtuber play one of the scenarios and it was actually pretty hilarious.
I feel the same. Yes From software made great souls games, yes GRR wrote some amazing books. We dont even know if they are capable of making good open world games and havent seen any gameplay. The prospect of this collab is cool, but apart from that I really dont care that much untill we've seen some gameplay.
i meant how dialogue is portrayed not the actual words of the dialogue. You are assuming that everything they would have done would have been done at the highest quality possible, which is a bit ehh too unimaginable. Yes ff soundtracks are good, but the actual quality of that sound isnt that great. Also I think W3 soundtrack wouldnt sound that great if you put it back 15 years in time with the technologies that were available then. Also massive open worlds (and not the relatively barebones lo...
pretty badly probably, the graphic quality, music (hardly any game had orchestral scores back then) and the dialog/quests is what stands out for most people I imagine, 15 years or so back those things wouldnt have been able to stand out as much, thus making the most appealing things of the game basically impossible.
imagine thinking being good at porting games translates well in designing games from scratch, you are wasting your comment.
I recommend replaying DA:I, it actually held up better than I expected. Main thing that bothers me is that some maps are filled with too many random collectible stuff/markers, but for the rest I really enjoyed revisiting the game.
what do you mean what i heard of the newest dragon age? They havent released gameplay yet and it has a good story to build upon from the previous entry. Bioware isnt the same as it used to be, but im still somewhat optimistic for DA. But lets judge the game when they show actual gameplay or when the game releases, everything is pure speculation now.
I never said u cant enjoy the game, i never played it but it looks like a decent game, its just a shame its a preditory monetarization. If i play a game f2p or just regular p2p i want to be able to get the best equipment etc without breaking into my life savings, or rather not paying anything extra at all. This is not about the game genshin impact and how good or bad it is, its just about the monetization.
Take a look at what Path of Exile or Dota 2 does for example, they d...
hahahah you gotta be joking? You think gacha is the best f2p model? You are literally being taken advantage off.
Look on youtube for a video: "lets go whaling" and after you finished watching that tell me again if you think gacha is an acceptable model for games. Its a cancer and should be eradicated.
"ubisoft is greedy" bro you gotta wake up, gacha games are as greedy as it gets. Tell me any other f2p model where you can spend thousands of dol...
Ever since they released AC1 their games have just been to formulaic, it was noticeable in ac1 allready. You had 3 missions (steal, assasinate and another one i forgot) and they just repeated that over and over in different areas. It was an excellent game for the time but it hasnt done ubisoft any favors in the long run relying on their formulaic design, almost all their games feel the same.
clickbait title, sweeney isnt the man behind fortnite....hes the founder of epic games and i doubt after the first initial games they made he was hands on with any games they made.
Here in the netherlands there were no arcade halls, or at least none that i knew of/were close. Would have loved to experience it back in the day but since I didnt, I cant say I miss it.
i dont want blood money!!
so basically "premium" dividend? or is dividend only based on stock value and not cashflow?
yes, the gnomes with pointy hats are whispering in the senators ears!
about the no man sky thing, i personally think Sony is to blame for that. Hello Games was a super small studio before they got picked up by Sony, they were basically creating their dream game. Im not sure what exactly they promised before sony picked them up for exclusivity, but I feel like they just got thrown in the deep by Sony putting them at E3 as one of their major games and started making too much promises etc. When they werent prepared to stand in the spotlight like this.

(class action) lawsuit for what? they released a game that was in our opinion not good enough?
I think the servers are still up for Anthem or not? if so, you are gonna be hardpressed with any lawsuit
seems after the cdpr debacle ppl learned a new word and are now throwing it around left and right.
Yes the game sucked, yeah it wasnt a pretty dev cycle, but its still a game you can play even though its a pile of shit, but not worth any lawsuits. sometimes yo...
