If you want a proper review dont go to those outlets, find a youtuber/streamer who has similar tastes as you and see what they think about the game. They will probably go way more in depth than any of these big outlets and will actually give you what you look for in a review. Also a review number has nothing to do with how much you might or might not enjoy the game. I still dont get why people get so worried or riled up about review scores.
fair enough, didnt know about that. I hope its true, I wanna be playing heavenly sword at 60 fps ;)
what rumours, as soon as ps4 released people were hoping for ps3 back compat, but i dont think its ever actually been rumoured besides wishful thinking from the players? its just really unlikely with ps3 being such an alien in terms of its processor. Would be amazing if they managed to pull it of though. Ps3 has some gems on it that people shouldnt be able to miss out on.
thats how i discovered metal slug as well, unfortunately there werent many arcades in the Netherlands, so i could only play it when i visited my uncle. There is a new tactics metal slug coming if you're interested in those type of games. Im kinda hyped for it
because they arent that widespread? sure when lol and overwatch released everyone tried to get it one the hype but now its kinda settled down for the most part or maybe im not looking hard enough. That point for 15 minutes the same experience is just false, they are almost all competitive games and sure the gameplay experience is similar but in each match there is enough difference through play or teamcomps or w/e to make them varied.
If you say it that broad i can say th...
Titanfall 1 and 2 ran on source engine and that ran buttery smooth, wow is running on warcraft 3 engine and that runs buttery smooth, so what the hell does it matter what code they use. At this time its so heavily modified that it doesnt matter at all.
As much as id like to hate CoD, i have to give it to them that the games always ran really smooth (last one i played was Advanced Warfare), maybe that changed with the last couple releases idk, but just mentioning an old engine o...
@crows all the while you are shivering in your boots your favorite company might not be number one anymore.
just stop the nonsense, ms has released quite some games on pc before, so its not new. They literally had a ms store on pc, it was an awful store though that stupid games for windows live.
i can do the same like you did; oh this new found concern from the sony camp for the indsutry, when games become 70 bucks its "good" for the industry w...
I would play Baldur's Gate 3 or Pillars of Eternity if i wanted that type of game from an ES experience. Make the world look gorgeous, branching story paths, interesting sidequests and a shitton of lore as usual then there will be absolutely no need for several characters.
@ted youll be surprised with how hardcore people are for D2 ladders, even before resurrected people still went ham on it on a 20 year old game.
That doesnt excuse that the offline mode needs a connection check, just make those characters not be able to play online or something. or just not able to compete on the ladder.
wow is absolute garbage right now, only classic is even worth playing and even that they fucked up with being able to purchase lvl 58 boosts and a mount.
I think for the forseeable future CoD will still be releasing on ps consoles. It would be financial suicide. Im not sure how i feel about this, at some point they just have to stop buying publishers, its getting ridiculous. On the other hand acti/blizz is such a dumpsterfire right now that its basically impossible to make their practices worst. I love a lot of the blizz franchises and hope that at least they will improve from this.
@magog do you not install your games from ps+ then and buy the game instead? double standards
Yeah, everyone here seems focussed that only a 3090 can run this properly. I have a card from the gen before and im sure it will run it great/fine. Maybe not with all the whistles and bells turned on at 4k, but thats s what you pay the big bucks for. The price to performance drops of greatly after the mid tier cards, but that goes for basically any product in the world.
The 3090 is not for everyone and never will be if they follow the route they did with the 2000 series, ha...
I somewhat disagree. Ofc this is with my nostalgia goggles on so im probably biased. Games used to be about making the best/most enjoyable experience for the player, thats how you made the most money.
Nowadays through artificial methods companies will make the most money. Dlc, gachas and boosters incentivize companies to focus less on the games quality and more on what ways they can implement these things to make more money.
There is still the all time gr...
did you even read past the headline on n4g? it actually brings up a legit problem that has been holding VR back so far. Where has the killer apps been so far for VR that has people in mass saying: I NEED to get myself VR for x or y game, that cant be done on a non-vr system.
Thats why playstation is so succesful because they got their killer games for all their consoles and so far VR has been lacking in that aspect. Sure it has some good games for it, but not to the degree...
@Sully it cant, but so far VR games havent been as good as the creators of these VR kits would have wanted us to believe. Sure there is some really good games on VR, but its not a consistent flow of good games for VR releasing. History has show that no matter how good the hardware, without the software support its going to fail (Dreamcast, Atari Lynx, Neo Geo (color) ). Maybe fail is too big a word, but at least not being the smash hit they want it to be.
I have faith that ...
@bouzebal the best VR software maybe, but thats not even the point hes making. The point is that VR games are lacking behind non-VR games in terms of quality.
maybe read the article before calling it a troll article.

@Jeece I played both and liked walking dead more than Heavy Rain. both really good games though, but i got more emotionally invested in TWD.
I mean I get what you mean with the example, i listen to quite a bit of indie music and im totally fine with them staying that way. The moment they get the big spotlight put on them, they will start to cater to the masses in so many cases. I rather have them stay more niche and keep their original identity,
I think y...
I dont think that would make for a good deal imo. I think what makes gamepass so appealing to people is that its day 1 and its high profile games (dont get me wrong factions/horizon mp will probably also be high profile). Removing the most pivotal aspects of why people buy gamepass doesnt seem like its a good idea.
tbh i dont even think Sony needs a gamepass competitor for the moment, their first party games sell insanely well and as long as they can keep that up i dont thi...
