@crows while i think youre right that price shouldnt always corrolate to quality I also think that if you pay 60+ for a game theres a quality bar that needs to be met. (not saying last of us doesnt reach that ofc).
If i pay 10 bucks for a game and its somewhat a buggy mess i can accept that as long as the game is still like playable and/or being patched. For a 60+ dollar game i cant accept that.
I think Notch demanded in the sale of Mojang that they wouldnt make it xbox exclusive.
it might not be special to you, but looking from its revenue it is for a whole bunch of people. Bottom line is that its a huge franchise to lose for Sony, if not quality wise then revenue wise. Its not more than logical that they are worried. I was already against MS buying bethesda, but combined with Actiblizz its really starting to get worrying if the deal goes through.
Im also cautiously optimistic from this game. The previews/blogs ive seen look really good. I like the direction they are taking the game, now I just gotta see if they execute it well. I wish they would have brought the Assassin back, but thats the rogue now i guess.

Im a pretty competetive player and even if it is generously giving out currency to buy characters its gonna take me months or years just to catch up. If i need a niche pick for a certain match then ill just be out of luck? If i dont have the meta heroes i basically cant even play competetively.
Dota and HoN have shown that its easily possible to give out all heroes for free and just have cosmetics as purchable things. I dont think i will or even want to go back to LoL after...

If they put characters behind a paywall i wont even bother trying it. Thats my biggest issue with LoL, if i want to get back to playing it I need so many resources to buy all of the new heroes. Ill just stick to Dota 2.

not everyone played during the ps3 era. I started during snes era but loved seeing articles/videos about how gaming evolved before that.

its a shame really, Wii U had some really good games which also ran silky smooth....the console was just so bad.
really depends on what you want. If you want more casual games to play with friends, sony definitely wouldnt be my first choise when it comes to 1st party games. If i want thrilling games with a great story and get sucked into the world then id choose them.
overwatch isnt really a heavy game to run, so this is not really that impressive.
