I do agree that it's nice that they fixed up their game, but if we're being honest here, they had no choice. The public backlash was so huge that it would have been financial suicide if they didn't.

@taco so what its entertainment? its still a product and just like any other thing those costs more than a couple quid, I want it to work and not be deceived by absolutely shameless marketing. The people who got the previous gen versions were absolutely scammed.
they will win back some of my favour if they aren't being shameless greedy pigs at the launch, but I will never forget the scummy tactics they used especially to sell the ps4/Xone versions.
arpgs and mmo's will never be able to be reviewed accurately because if there are problems, they will most likely show up 100+ hours deep.
@foxtrot and you think the guys who create the story are the same guys who make the 3rd person mode? Everything was already in the game, they just needed to adjust the camera and make sure it works, that's not even the work of 25% of one level, and its only engineers that are needed for it and not designers. Always fun to hear people say they shoulda done this and that when they have no idea how development works.

It's also not really that hard since they can just port it from the pc version and make it work with the pro raytracing.

yes minecraft players are angry on a daily basis and whenever someone picks banjo kazooie in smash, one phone gets thrown against the wall out of pure frustration, it's just too much to deal that a multiplat game that has always been multiplat is still a multiplat. It's the same as when diablo 3 got announced for consoles, I just couldn't hold my frustration back because its just so awful to see other people play a game that was only supposed to be for us pcmr. How dare they!
diablo is not an mmo, you don't even know the fucking genre of the game.
since the start of d4 you had region chats, which is normal for an ARPG, to have chat in a certain region or in the hub, which is not the same as an mmo.

i mean its not finished so ofc that's what it's gonna look like because that probably was their starting point, its a game mode of infinite so I'm not sure what you're expecting. That many resources? how many? if it looks so similar its most likely not THAT many resources.
This was most likely a 1 or 2 man job to see if they could get something to work that was fun, which is actually pretty common for studios to do. The gameplay and assets were already there...
