ps5 pro enhancements do not take a significant amount of resources, for multiplat games they can just use the pc version and lift from that and if not, most devs shoots for the stars and then tone it down, which means when it comes to assets, they already have the more detailed ones in their backpocket. If it was so resource intensive, do you really think so many devs would support it at launch?

There are also other things to increase performance besides dropping the resolution and fps, like they do for games that come out on pc and consoles but those arent as great of buzzwords.
