playstation still has the same advantages over pc it always had besides from their games coming to pc after a year or so. It will still appeal to most of the same demographic.

They could just make some presets for a couple of popular archetypes and still have an advanced character creator/stats at the same time, seems like a good middle of the road without having to compromise on the complexity. A lot of games do something similar.

for competitive shooters I always play with mouse + keyboard but for singleplayer/coop I sometimes play with controller because I'm not that worried about accuracy.
