Definitely. The rest of the night's comedy/performances were pretty lame, but that opening skit was great.
You shouldn't waste your loyalty on anyone who sees you as a walking wallet. I prefer the PlayStation brand, but I have absolutely zero loyalty towards Sony, or any other company/corporation for that matter. I'm only loyal to family and friends.
It's not so much hard as it is really frustrating. It's entirely the timer's fault. Would be a really relaxing (but also really easy) game without the timer.
Always cracks me up when I see people whine about this being a PS3 site. Back when I signed up in 2007, you were damn near guaranteed to lose a bubble just for admitting you owned a PS3. PS3 finally had enough going for it in 2008 to break that cycle. The way it's been the past couple days is how it was everyday last year.

On the whole, I agree with the negative opinions. Some of them are a bit excessive, but Home really is boring and pointless to me. The only time I really enjoyed logging on was when we got the new arcade games to win things from in the closed beta. I think Sony justifies any production cost by the potential ad revenue they'll earn, should Home catch on. It's just that the time and money put in doesn't justify the final (beta) product. I learned a long, long time ago that the mainstream media knows next to nothing about the game industry. To give a CNN example, look back to the Glenn Beck/Jack Thompson circle jerk in which they said you could have anal sex in strip clubs and chainsaw cops in half in GTAIV.

I've got a couple guy avatars, a "hot" female avatar, and a really ugly fat chick avatar. If someone comes up and starts dancing at me, I usually switch to the fat chick.

You're guaranteed to get desperate pervs hitting on you if you use a female avatar. Always happened in the closed beta. I don't respond to people or accept friend invites when I'm on one of my female characters.
Wasn't even the best game on the 360 this year, let alone across all platforms.

I'm actually really surprised LBP isn't one of their nominees. They were telling people to go out and buy PS3's just for that game, and it gets passed up for games like Fable 2 and Resistance 2?
One of the European guys I always play with bought SFII from the US store last week. He's got an account in every region.
I've got more than enough PS3 games to keep me happy, with some real exciting titles coming down the pipeline, but to be perfectly honest, their nonchalant attitude during their current trouncing in America does bother me. The utter failure that was LBP's launch also left a bad taste in my mouth. That game is way more deserving of their attention than what it got, and is still getting.
2.9 - I can get behind you on that, but if the game's good, I'm gonna play it, fan-raping timed exclusivity or not. I always buy used when that happens, if I buy at all.
I think all this timed exclusivity crap has gotta stop, no matter which console is benefiting from it at the time. Same with exclusive DLC. It does nothing but segregate and infuriate parts of the fanbase.
