So sick of Sqeenix's hard-on for portables and mobiles.
I'm having Orange Box flashbacks. Luckily, I was turned off to this game after the E3 presentation, and never warmed up to it since then. Being shafted on DLC and getting an inferior port doesn't exactly make me wanna try it out either.
Don't think they've ever given anything a 10. Pretty sure 9.8 is their highest review score given, Halo 3 being one of (if not the only) game to receive it from them.
Good score but GT ranks up about as high as GameSpot on my scale of review credibility. Great site for videos, but that's about it.
I lol'd. Bubbles.

I always wondered what this one looked like, and since none of my European friends are in the beta with me I haven't been able to visit it.
I actually really liked it up until around the 2nd half of the game. Seemed like they just really needed to tie everything up in a hurry and half-assed it. Everything involving the Italians sucked, including their dialogue. It was like listening to casting rejects from The Sopranos.
I'm still waiting for my "Key to the City" for getting 100% within 3 weeks of launch. Don't know if I'm up for doing it again.
The slow reaction time to bullets is lag, and not flying across the screen from a sniper shot is pretty standard unless you're playing something with ridiculous ragdoll physics.
Not dying after being shot down is the gameplay mechanic.
It's a gameplay mechanic, but I really can't go into detail. Get into the beta, you'll understand, or ask the guy who took the footage, he's already gonna get banned. Think CoD4 Last Stand, but with a different purpose.
Edit - 1.6 knows.
That was the only thing that kept me from completely blowing off this T-rated nonsense. No matter how crappy the new "Heroic Brutalities" and "Fatalities" looked, I could always fall back on the Joker's looking pretty awesome, giving me hope that the others might be altered to push the T rating. Probably not even getting a rent from me now.
As if the transition to 3D wasn't bad enough, now they rape the franchise known specifically for excessive gore, giving...
If you don't have Calling All Cars, the annual is worth it. You're essentially paying $15 for 12 episodes of Qore. I don't know if I would have subscribed if I had already owned that game.
As for this episode, I'm in Home, so there doesn't seem to be anything for me. Home could definitely use more active people though, so I guess that's something.
Well one of them is the map expansion. If I remember correctly, it's a small island they're adding. Last I heard (before bikes) that one was aimed for a release this year.
All developers should take a page from Criterion's book. Freely and significantly adding onto their game purely for the pleasure of the fans. What amazes me even more is that these guys are part of EA and able to do this.
Source seems kinda nutty, but I did come to a similar conclusion myself when this news first broke, mostly based on the delay being less than a week. It would take a lot more than a few days to change the final build, press tons of copies, and ship them worldwide. Plus many retail outlets didn't even ship theirs back, according to other articles posted here recently.
Scamco is really going balls deep with the rip off DLC. Putting EA to shame.
Very nice, even though I assume I'm gonna have to re-rainbow everything (luckily I barely touched hard).
Well, maybe not. Says there's a new Trophy Challenge Mode designed for the trophy support. Might be like how High Velocity Bowling's new trophy support is all based on the new online mode.
I don't really play anymore, but my characters are in Scania. Got a 105 Hermit and 71 Priest.
I opened a Jr. Balrog summoning bag on a low-level crowd in Maple Story. Should I expect mass murder charges?
Silent Hill was good. They really nailed the style, and using the game's excellent soundtrack was extra win.
Er, it says the same thing when you play the beta. Plain old "Killzone 2", not "Killzone 2 Beta".
Good thing I'm not a SOCOM fan.
Might still grab it just because I need a headset and I want the official PlayStation one. As crappy as it may be, I'm sure it's worth the extra $10 to get the game/headset rather than just the headset.
