Good game, it deserves it. IGN is the one and only place I take seriously when it comes to gaming journalism. Been going to their site since they were GameSages, or since they merged with GameSages, don't remember which way it went.
How about releasing a commercial to tell all the people who don't already know about what you offer, instead of telling the people who already work in/follow the industry.

I gotta say I'm pretty blown away if the intro that was recently shown at GameTrailers isn't CGI. That's pretty much the best non-CGI graphics I've ever seen.
Makes me sick. I don't even like Tomb Raider, but on principal alone, this is complete and utter garbage. This exclusive DLC nonsense has got to stop. May as well just make the whole game exclusive and save a chunk of your fanbase the ass ache when they find out they can't play the full game unless they own a specific console.

I don't think Capital G believes any of what he's saying. I think he's just trying to see how long it takes before he's banned to the Open Zone. Damn near all of his comments have been deleted by mods, yet he's still here. He trolls harder than 95% of the people already stuck in there.
They may have been able to get away with it before, but not now. They're trailing behind the reigning king of "ads > quality", and most likely (aside from price), that's the single biggest reason why they continue to trail. They may as well be running 3 AM infomercials and it would probably have the same effect as their "ad campaign" now. It pales in comparison to Microsoft's.

Yeah, I don't remember what the driver was called, but I've been doing this since I got my PS3 in 2007.
I really only play PS3 and PC. Occasionally I'll fire up the PS2, even though my PS3 will play all of my PS2 games. PSP also gets a little use here and there, mostly playing Guilty Gear X2.
I got into the beta at Phase 2, and I really can't say there's anything wrong with the controls. I did tweak them so the zoom is on the R3, since it doesn't zoom by holding it, but by tapping it instead. If I remember correctly that re-assigned melee to L1. Aside from that one swap, I left it at default, and it worked fine.
As a PS3 owner, this is DLC I actually care about missing. Really enjoyed this game.

I've got a friend who loves Mass Effect, but I just don't see the attraction myself. I'm not the biggest WRPG fan in the world, though. In-fact, the only WRPG I can remember liking is Fallout 3.
That's sad. They should have let them go balls-to-the-wall for their 20th anniversary/final issue. Release it like one of their old super thick mags.
If you're going by quality for this "Halo Killer" title, it's already been killed many times over. I think "CoD4 Killer" is a much more appropriate title in the console FPS quality department.
If it's sales you're looking for, give any game the Halo 3 ad bankroll and see what happens. I'll bet Microsoft spent more money advertising Halo 3 than Bungie spent developing it.
About 1/3 of mine are in pretty crappy condition also. I've even got a few issues of EGM2.
Don't know why people keep saying God of War III is 2009. It could be, but don't you think they would have said something at the end of the VGA trailer like they did with Uncharted 2? I think it's 2010, and many of you are just setting yourselves up for another "OHNOES DELAYSTATION" moment, when it doesn't even have a projected release date right now.
