I didn't find it too hard to finish either, but all of my friends who aren't fans of the series think it's nearly impossible. I can understand the difficulty for newcomers.
Too bad I already completed the campaign. Still need to get all gold though.
MGS4 has my vote as well, but I can totally understand why people who aren't fans of the series don't like it. It's really an acquired taste, but being as big of a fan as I am, MGS4 was like a religious experience.
I have a feeling GTAIV is gonna pick up a lot of undeserving GOTY awards from various outlets. The media really rode that one hard, unlike many fans.
All that man does is get owned. During most of this year, if he said 360 would outsell the PS3, the PS3 sold more. If he said the PS3 was gonna outsell the 360, the 360 sold more. How he manages to get paid to work with numbers is astounding.
Pretty solid contender for turd of the year.
This is my favorite level in the beta. Makes for some intense action when it's packed with people.
Ah, ok.
I like this one more...

I've never seen them give a .5, only full numbers.
I'm not a big fan of Home myself, even as a current tester, but this is really silly. Pachter believing that there are more "griefers" on the PSN than the XBL actually made me belt out in laughter. This guy is on every single episode too, admitting that he only uses the Wii in the rare occasions when he does play games with his kids. I guess he's gotta find something to do in between his routinely false sales predictions.
Can't be true about 1st party limitations. Metal Gear Solid 4 isn't 1st or 2nd party. It's genuine 3rd party, and it got bundled with the 80gig right around launch.
Yep, shoulda been LBP instead of Uncharted.
Should have bundled Dark Knight with the 80gig like how Spiderman 3 came with the 40gig when it first launched.
Can't speak for XBL, but I've never had an issue with the PSN in the year I've been using it. Even when it's down for maintenance you can login and play online, you just can't use the store.
@1.2 - I've never seen GameSpot and "high quality" used in the same sentence before. Does not compute.
Yeah, I get that, and I play lots of games that are considered "casual", but it just doesn't feel right to me. I guess Nintendo just has pop culture shoppers by the balls, and it pains me to see the Nintendo from my childhood turn into a corny family moment of waggling.
I dunno what this says about the current gaming climate, but I don't like it.
The two consoles with consistent quality titles being released can't even sell half as much as the Wii in pretty much any given month. There's something very wrong about that.
Traded this in at Blockbuster for $30, bought Uncharted. The game is fine, but the online is completely dead on PS3.
Needs moar modern.
Still on the fence about this. Bleh...
I'm not one of those people who call every game that doesn't sell 10 million a flop, but for a title that is nothing short of phenomenal, reaching low 6-digit sales figures days after launch is pretty bad. Someone dropped the ball, and didn't even try to pick it back up. The advertising is still dismal, and figures from last week say it didn't even crack 1 million yet.
The continuing Okami sales flop is so sad and bewildering. I don't understand why people are so turned off to purchasing such a critically acclaimed title. I've been gaming for about 20 years, and Okami easily makes my top 10.
