A PSP phone is almost as dumb of an idea as the PSPgo. Sony, if you think this PSP phone thing is going to help you battle the iPhone, I'm telling you right now it won't. It will fail, just like the Go did. Sony, concentrate on the PSP 2, and make that a phone if you think it will help. If you ask me, you should be more worried about the 3DS.
Also, doesn't the existing PSP have Skype, which lets you make phone calls?
Agreed OrgangeCow. Putting a 1080p resolution screen on a handheld is overkill, and it would unnecessarily drive up the cost of the system.
The Japanese are busy playing dating simulators and anime games and other weird stuff.
I think New Vegas has been patched on all platforms at this point, PC and PS3 for sure. I don't know about 360. I've been playing with the version 1.01 patch on PS3 for just under 20 hours and I haven't had any problems.
Yes it is. Bring on the sequel!
An 8 doesn't seem right. I'd have given this game an 8.00000000000000000001.
Isn't it fun posting mean-spirited remarks on the Internet where you can remain anonymous and not have to actually confront the person you're insulting? Good times!
Very funny article. It's right up there with his objective review of Final Fantasy 13 (not the actual FF 13 review, but the mock objective review he did later).
Bobby Kotick is influential. He influenced me to never again purchase Activision games brand new. Thanks Bobby.
Why are so many people pre-ordering Black Ops? Haven't you CoD fans realized you're buying the same game every year just with basic cosmetic changes. It'll have another painfully short 4-hour single player campaign, and when you play Black Ops online, it's going to be the same gameplay you experienced in Modern Warfare 1, World at War and Modern Warfare 2. When is that shit going to get old for you guys?
I disagree and I challenge you to a duel, not for your comment, but for misspelling the word "the." Have at you!
@kaveti6616
He never said that he did participate in the productions of those games so I'm not sure why you brought that up. Explain yourself sir.
At the risk of racking up a ton of disagrees, I agree with Jim's assessment of Castlevania: LoS. But not Assassin's Creed 2. I loved that game.
I'm glad you mentioned Galaxy 2. Most people seem to forget about that game when they're talking about 2010 game of the year contenders. Galaxy 2 is my top pick so far this year.
Jim Sterling reviews are always fun to read. He makes good points in this review.
You must not have noticed the "D+" grade they gave to Final Fantasy 14.
Why did Square-Enix reveal this news. Did they publish this game overseas or something?
That's a strange opinion. I've never come across anyone else who thinks one Final Fantasy game is good, while all the others suck. You're weird.
I'll hold off on a purchase until they patch this game and remove most of the bugs and glitches.
This has been getting surprisingly good reviews so far. I expected mediocre reviews at best. I'm pleasantly surprised. I'll have to try this game.
