Why are so many people pre-ordering Black Ops? Haven't you CoD fans realized you're buying the same game every year just with basic cosmetic changes. It'll have another painfully short 4-hour single player campaign, and when you play Black Ops online, it's going to be the same gameplay you experienced in Modern Warfare 1, World at War and Modern Warfare 2. When is that shit going to get old for you guys?

At the risk of racking up a ton of disagrees, I agree with Jim's assessment of Castlevania: LoS. But not Assassin's Creed 2. I loved that game.
I'm glad you mentioned Galaxy 2. Most people seem to forget about that game when they're talking about 2010 game of the year contenders. Galaxy 2 is my top pick so far this year.

That's a strange opinion. I've never come across anyone else who thinks one Final Fantasy game is good, while all the others suck. You're weird.
I'll hold off on a purchase until they patch this game and remove most of the bugs and glitches.
I'm still waiting for an apology for FF 13. On topic: this is just ridiculous that Square had the nerve to release an unfinished beta as a finished product and sucker people out of their money. They need to do more than just apologize and offer people a full refund. The huge drop in sales and the generally poor ratings for FF 14 will hopefully send a message to Square that they need to get their shit together and stop fucking over their fans.

I have no doubt that the 360 port of FF 13 caused the game to be altered in certain ways. All I'm saying is the 360 port certainly did not cause it to be a bad game. It would have been bad as a PS3 exclusive. The story was damn near incomprehensible, the dialogue seemed like it was written by a sixth grader, and the characters were uninteresting at best and annoying at worst. Not to mention, the game was linear as sin, had near-useless summons (who you had to fight...
Yes, the joke is getting old and overused, but you're wrong that the 360 was to blame for FF 13 being shitty. Square gets 100 percent of the blame for that game. Unless you can provide a detailed and logical explanation to back up your claim, but no one else has been able to do that so far.

There's also a crazy lack of momentum. If you jump to the left or right and take your thumb off the d-pad, Sonic just drops mid-air. He'll also just stop rolling down a hill sometimes instead of picking up speed. It's bizarre.
