i have yet to play GoW2 which is on my to-play list. i'll wait until there's an official date to pre-order it and i don't expect this game until at least Q2 2009

i still don't find BD very good for data storage. HDD's are bigger, cheaper and more durable. BD's are great for movies though.
i have a ps3 but a price drop would be good, heck i might just get another ps3 if the price is right.
though i agree that it is very useful for number crunching, we have yet to see it fully utilized for gaming and so we shouldn't pass judgement until then
the PS3 doesn't have many JRPG's.
Enchanted Arms is decent but multi-platform
Folklore isn't really an JRPG' or RPG for that matter
so RPG fans on the PS3 don't have much to play until later on this year and beyond, but the ones that are coming are worth waiting for imo.

and these are NEW ips as well so it's make or break. people should learn not to get too hyped because a let down will hurt. but it's good to anticipate them.
development this gen requires more resources and time and i'm not surprised when games get pushed back.
i agree that the ps3 is in dire need of more exclusive WRPG's. i hope sony keeps the PS well rounded in genres... it looks like the industry just wants to pump out FPS games lately.
it's good that the xbox is trying to shake the 'shooter platform' label. they still need to invest in more JRPG's. WRPG's are just as good.
the games that support 1080i aren't many. i would do my research on the games and even though i'm not affected with this issue i hope sony or developers will remedy this downscaling problem that some people face.
