and the supply issues
it's probable but very unlikely or else there would have been news about the manufacturing companies falling behind or having issues producing them well before making a statement to the public.
will they do a review again once the US version is released? because it's suppose to have more content than the Japanese one.
it will spike in sales now, but it's the long run that matters.
like Jenoz said up there, this is all irrelavent. what's relevant is whether or not the numbers are gaining or decreasing as the other 2 consoles are now in market and the 360 now has competition which it didn't have for a complete whole year.
you know the point you're trying to make is flawed. total sales are suppose to be counted as a percentage NOT units. A larger userbase will sell more but if you look at percentage it's a whole different story
Namco Bandai... they said Eternal Sonata was exclusive... i hope this game follows the same path. looking good.
i wonder why people take Wikipedia seriously and factual. it's a flawed system.
you're right about the conscious consumer looking at both consoles and their price but that also means they will also see that the ps3 also comes with a built-in blu-ray player. and so they will see that the price is actually of better value.
and i agree with the above post. i'd like to see a link about your 50% statement.
i agree with you. i love my mac even though i don't use iMovie or FCE much. but i can imagine just how much storage it will need, especially with HD. but for the general consumer i don't think a blu-ray disc will be useful. not for the price as they are right now, but maybe when they're as cheap as DVD's are today
although your point makes sense you do realize that 360 has always been cheaper than the PS3 and yet the PS3 has always outsold the 360 in Europe.
at the moment Blu-ray is already a bad choice for data storage and so will these discs. HDD's are cheaper and more reliable. the only good use for discs these sizes is for movies and 50 or even 100 GB is enough until we have 100,000,000dpi or something.
and for the people touting direct download by 2010 are either fanboys or the delusional.
and the consumer wins again...
wasn't there a post last week that had the list of stuff he would be getting. it was a huge list. but right on to ms and bungie for doing that.
the joystick on the first page looks cool. i wonder why they didn't add a WiFi adapter. I know i'll need one when i get a 360.
isn't this against the user agreement? why would he even use his username. anyway, it's looking good. can't wait to try it out.
hopefully the PC version will include these DLC.
(right about now the PSP to PS3 interactivity would come in handy for people at work. just turn on your ps3 via your psp and start the download.)
I'm a Blu supporter but I still stand on my opinion that Blu-ray on PC's, laptops or Macs is USELESS. It's not good for data storage since HDD's are cheaper and more reliable and the only good use for them is for movies. But who wants to watch them half a foot from their monitor?
i wonder if the PC version will include this.
why would installs stop you from gaming? that makes no sense at all. PC's have been doing it since day one. You need to know that consoles are evolving into PC clones.
that's a bold statement to make. with the 360 gaining more JRPG IP's it shouldn't be as bad as the first Xbox. but i don't think MS really cares to target the Japanese market. it's probably last on their list.
