I feel as though the series x might be Microsoft's last console. They are definitely focusing forward on services and it wouldn't surprise me if come the next next gen, their games may be available across all platforms, including Sony, Nintendo, and mobile. Microsoft has always been a software company, it makes no sense for them to continue to dump hundreds of millions/billions of dollars into hardware research and development, marketing, production costs, shipping costs for the har...
What's more frustrating than EA's persistent anti-consumer tactics is the refusal of gamers to reject this company and boycott their games completely. If they are not forced to be better, they will not be better.
@mikeslemonade
Actually, with the upcoming release of the samsung 980 pro and the sabrent rocket 4 plus which has read speeds of 7GB/s and write speeds of 6.85GB/s, the console ssd advantage is not a thing....especially when considering Nvidia's compression tech which will give a times two multiplier. That means 14 GB/s compressed for those Samsung and Sabrent nvme's. That outstrips even the ps5's 8-9 GB/s compression. It's up to developers to utilize the tech on p...
Money talks.

My pilot is Mulder. Copilot name of Scully.
I fly for freedom.
The truth is out there.
Trust no one.
The developers are just wondering if 310 million is enough to purchase an nvidia 3090........
The bizarre reality is that by the time this game does get a release, it will have probably been outdone by another game with a much smaller budget but better vision.
@anubusgold
You live in Mississippi? You poor bastard. My condolences to the common ignorance that infested your habitat long ago.
No. Flight Simulator should have been a demo, running on actual series x hardware, at Microsoft's July event. They couldn't even manage that. A game that is niche is not a headline grabber....as stunning and technically marvelous as Flight Simulator is, it doesn't sell consoles to the masses. Hardcore sim fans with flight sticks and throttle controllers will be upgrading pc's for this, but it doesn't move the needle the way other games do.
The game is an impressive technical achievement, no question.

Your brain, the meager bit of matter that it is, is polluted with your own backed up feces. Seek help for your mental weakness, and educate yourself you poor, unfortunate critter.
I never bought Control, mostly because I'm working through a helluva backlog, but when I build out a new pc this fall/winter for Cyberpunk, I will buy the Ultimate Edition of Control. I have to say though.....if I had bought the game previously and then they pulled this mess, I would have some harsh feelings about the developer and the publisher alike.
Interesting how you say people are "pocketing" an extra 600....people have to pay mortgages, insurance (auto/health), bills, medical expenses, food expenses.....but sure, "pocketing" makes sense.
Yikes.
You need to sit the boy down and let him have a chat with Craig.
He'll see the light.
@nodoze
You're as weak as you are ignorant. Good luck with that.
@unself
You will be added......and then you will die. Insert evil laugh here......
@bathyj
You made me want to go to the fridge for a sandwich.
@deathdeliverer
Some may like flight sims, some may not, just as some may like fps and some may not, but a great experience is a great experience.....no one game is going to appeal to everybody. I'm not a flight sim guy just as I'm not a Halo fan, but this fall/winter I will be building a new pc and getting gamepass and flight simulator is for sure a game I will try out, much as I would give Halo Infinite a shot if it were launching this fall/winter. Flight simulator looks ...
Compared to what? When you compare crap to crap and call crap the winner, you are the one who loses.
CD Projekt Red deserves ALL the support.
