You're absolutely right mate. I've been taking the stance of waiting for the GOTY edition but all my friends are loving this game at the moment, I was allowing the hype to pull me in.
Still debating with myself on buying this. Choices choices.
I also remember when GTA was released some news presenter reported you could have sex with a prostitute and cut her in half with a chainsaw. Half right, eh?
It bothers me that people that discuss gaming on the news still refer to 'points'. In GTA you apprently get points for running people over, or in MW2 you got points for gunning down innocent people. Wrong and wrong. I just wish someone that knows their stuff would go on the news when a story like this pops up and ...
Amazing. Really makes me want to play a Zelda game. Am in the mood for Wind Waker.
It amazes me how good MGS2 still looks 10 years on. Remember seeing it for the first time and my jaw just dropped and it still looks fantastic today.
Hard times for everyone. Whether or not you like IGN, it's not nice to see people losing their jobs.
She can sneak into my bed anytime.
Seriously, I would ruin that.
*Awkward silence*
His words upon leaving:
"The hours and money is takes for me to get here are scarier than the game!"
Ridiculous. If 95 is not enough for people or if matters THAT much to people just gtfo and don't come back, you're pathetic.
In the article, a paragraph started with "To be successful, GTA V has to..." doesn't have to do anything. This game was a success the second they showed a picture of the GTA V logo.
No morality - good or bad system. They never really work in games and don't add depth to it.
"A true story that is immersive to the player and adds a bit of reality. Pull gamers into the story without making it unbelievable" - You're forgetting th...
This really is a 'no shit' type of article (if anyone saw that article a few days back). Rockstar has other projects, that massive game developer that has offices ALL OVER THE WORLD? No shit.
Agreed. I loved the first Manhunt. I never played the sequel but it seemed it wasn't about the snuff films story that the first one was about.
It had a really dark and brooding atmosphere, plus it was so violent it would make that hack Eli Roth blush.
People really shouldn't look too deeply into review scores. Too much focus is going into what the numbers say rather then the words.
Skyrim: Modern Warfare.
We've replaced Dragons with soldiers.
We've replaced rival factions with Russia.
We've replaced hundreds of quests with linear, corridor shooting sections.
Enjoy.
Metacritic sucks.
It's certainly nothing new and yet strangely it feels so fresh.
Games like Dark Souls are in short supply recently. It's so pure in that its all gameplay, barely any cutscenes and the game design is what you have to overcome.
Demon's Souls and Dark Souls are both just fantastic. Bit of a bold statement for 'best game ever' but still up there with the greats.
Ehhh, not buying this guy as a professional. Anyone can guess work this stuff, my mate and I talked about most of these ideas in work since the trailer was released.
No one would take the risk of revealing R* information about one of their games, R* are far too secret about it.
This game is incredibly scary. I completed it, but in an hour to two hour bursts over a period of 4 or 5 days.
The atmosphere is just so intense and its there all the time that breaks really are required because it leaves you drained. Its not a relaxing gameplay experience, but its one I really recommend.
ROFL! Amazing. Bubs.
