Knowing Rockstar it will be Novemebr for the elections. With the games big focus on money, poverty and wealth and the controversy that always surrounds GTA games, it'll be the perfect way to stick it to the man by releasing for the 2012 elections.

If something doesn't have 90+ on Metacritic then many gmaers don't play it. It's a sad state of affairs.

From the article and quoted from Ninja Theory:

"The decision as to whether DMC needed a reboot or not: it's irrelevant what my opinion is because that decision was Capcom's. They felt it needed something, which is why they not only decided to take a bold step and reinvent it, but to give it to a non-Japanese dev.

"They had their reasons and that was our mandate. They wanted a reinvention - a reinterpretation - and that's what we went ahe...

People really need to just get over this. The death threats was just appauling. Really? Does a game character mean that much to you? It's not even an multi-layered character that one can relate to that sends you on an emotional journey of self disovery or whatever people feel they need from games these days. It's a guy with a sword that kills demons.

Lets look at the series as whole, shall we? 2 good games, one meh and one crap. The last, 4 (meh) wasn't great. If ...

That's what people need to do more. Design and make games the way THEY would wanna see them. Thats why people often get into creatives roles. Sames goes for music an stuff. Sure, not everyone does it for themselves or their own vision, they're just told to make something to make a quick buck.

The first six episodes were slow though. I love a good drama show and never expected it all to be 'action action action!'.

But lets face it, even when they tried to develop characters in tht first half of season 2, they failed. There were very few characters I actually thought were interesting and many of the attempts to give a more in depth look at the survivors just failed in my opinion.

I can imagine writing professionally about games must be tough. It's like games testing, people think its a glamerous job of 'I get to sit around and play games all day!' but a lot of them will be crap, or games you don't particulary enjoy.

Writing about games as a job just means you'll get a game and have to blitz through it and still have time to write a good enough review. Will you enjoy it? Perhaps. Would you have time to go back to it and play more if...

Looks ok, would like to try a demo.

Thankfully it doesn't look like it'll be like the first half of season 2 which consisted of the survivors stood around the farm having a good bitch at each other with a walker showing up every couple of episodes to break up the tedium or them bitching about Sophia.

Since it's ending for any kind of media, how about Battlestar Galactica? Was kind of a let down when compared to rest of the show.

Also the ending to the Farseer Trilogy by Robin Hobb. Loved the Assassins books but the final book, Assassins Quest, had what seemed like a rushed ending. Still brilliant reading though.

Bioshock endings were pretty dissapointing but I guess they did their job.

I used to consider games the easiest medium to review. It seemed like it used to be 'Well, the game functions and works well, controls are good and tight and its enjoyable' ect ect.

This is stuff that I assumed opinion wouldn't matter on as gamers know when a game works. But then looking back at like Halo Reach and I remember people giving it bad review scores simply because they hated Halo.

Gaming reviews are in a bad state but IGN just seems to...

Any Souls games doesn't need to be exclusive. They don't rely on mind blowing graphics and it'll run fine on any system.

PC SHOULD, absolutely, get this game. Get this baby on Steam, £30 or so and watch the cash roll in for FromSoftware

"Many of the fans are not telling Bioware to change the endings completely; some simply wish for more explanation and closure to the franchise. Others are saying they would gladly pay for such an extension, something that is pretty astounding given usual frugality."

After reading that, my paranoid brain began thinking that, perhaps this is what Bioware wanted all along? If its true that fans are actually saying "WE'LL PAY FOR MORE DLC IS YOU EXPAND THE ENDI...

I popped into GAME today on the way to work and there really was a sense of impending doom in there. Like all the staff watches you walk in and they suddenly stiffen up, watch you with sunken, hollow eyes and try and act nonchalant but really they wanna run over begging you to buy something.

If you live in the UK definately get in there though, the 'spring cleaning sale' has some fantastic offers on, so get it while they're cheap and desperate.

I remember picking this up with my mate. We spent 4 days in his room with 2 TV's and 2 Gamecubes just plaything through Wind Waker. Good times man and definately one of, if not the best Zelda games.

Lets be reasonable here people - games development costs money.

As graphics have become better and games become bigger, more time and manpower is needed to create games and in these hard financial times, not everyone is making the money they want to be. What's the alternative? Sadly, it's DLC.

The thing is, what makes something 'integral' to the experience? Go back a generation when DLC on consoles couldn't exist and we say "OH YEAH ...

Give it a rest Kojima. The story is over and done. The horse you are flogging is well and truly dead.

I know people will disagree, people love MGS, hell, I love MGS, I treated myself to the HD collection to play them all again. But c'mon! It's done! We don't need another! You tied it off with a ridiculous long end cutscene in MGS4.

***SPOILERS***
Half Life Episode 2 had a fantastic ending. When she's crying over her fathers corpse and it slowly fades to black. Fantastic storytelling.

As for the MGS stuff. I love MGS but c'mon people, the story has gotten ridiculous. I'd be surprised if they were just making it up with each game, trying to find reasons to carry it on and adding more and more stuff in there. I didn't think I could be anymore puzzled by MGS2 but 4 just blew it out t...
