Get DOWWWNNNNN, flaming incoming!
I agree. Don't go near a strategy guide until you've done your first playthrough, then maybe try your second playthrough without (since you've learnt how the game works, now do it again 70% harder). Demon's Souls really was agame of discovery and Dark Souls will be the same.
I think they're bonuses that benefit players online and players under the same alignment help each other ect. But yeah, thats as much as I know, will be interesting to see how its implemented.
And yes, hopefully they'll be some massive bosses.
I'm guessing the four lords introduced here are the ones players choose to align themselves with at the start of the game.
He's dead but use Richard Burton's voice from Jeff Waynes WotW.
The Dead Space games aren't scary.
The way I could think of RE 6 being scary is to take it in another direction, perhaps even back a few steps.
Drop the all out action. You got a nice balance in RE4 but RE5 was too much. Bring in more puzzles and less enemies.
Drop the co-op. A scary experience is a lonely one. Having a partner equally equipped as you are makes you feel like 'Army of Two'.
Less ammo, maybe even weapons all together. Maybe introduce more melee combat. R...
Geez, calm down people.
I'm seeing really insightful comments of people saying this isn't the real portrayal of a woman, that she's just eye candy and her being there ruins the atmosphere and experience of the game because she has no real character.
Then I remember we're talking Resident Evil here, a series that is famous for it's not so stellar voice acting and many of the games have had women in short skirts running around cities investe...
That was a bloody hard game, wholeheartedly agree.
Demon's Souls was a challenge but it just required patience and common sense. Wasn't nearly as bad as some reviewers made it out to be (although its still the best game this gen regardless)
This sounds very, very deep. This is, quite simply, going to be a quality game. Plus no DLC, everything is in the game and its HUGE.
Breaking Bad? Just kidding.
Its a shame they never made a decent Buffy/Angel game, so much potential there.
Not really a trophy whore but I would of got a plat on this, Resi4 is just THAT enjoyable to play again and again. Back on the GC version I put too many hours into this game.
I find it fascinating that the game that gives an argubly 'harsh' review when compared to all the shining reviews out there is the hottest article at the moment. Also, that people consider 7 a low score. And when people are arguing against why a 7 is bad they say something along the lines of 'No way, its worth an 8 or 8 easily!' without stating why it would be an 8 or 9.
Bloody hell though, we toss 9's around this generation too damn easy. Everythings a 9,...
I have a solo party. I buy the game, I go home and play it.
Heard nothing about this game. Quick question, does it have regenerating health or a health bar?
Having a health bar, I feel, pulls you into the game more. It's another thing you have to worry about, check on and maintain. I love the feeling in those old FPS games when you have above a full health bar, full ammo and a lot of guns and you enter a new area. You feel you can take on the world. But then next, one wrong ambush and your health is low, your covering, popping shots at the enemy. Its a thrilling experience and I think regenerating health has killed that feeling.
Nothing wrong with updating the game to look better. Usually they seal the deal so you get 2 or 3 games in the collection for the price of one.
The only time when these remakes are bad are like with the Silent Hill Collection and the changing of voice actors because Konami won't pay the old ones. That, to me, is wrong and they shouldn't be shunning out the old actors many grew to love.
"The key to making a successful MMO is in the gameplay. If you get that wrong, no one will play."
Pretty sure thats just any game, right?
Freakin' Dark Souls!
I would of just stuck with that but I'll be getting Batman as well.
