Think they'd do a sequel or another successor?
I personally see a successor. Since Demon's and Dark Souls weren't big on stories and focused more on gameplay and the world, I could imagine they'd make another world and something like Dragon's Souls or something.
Gee...thanks
Top 5 is the new Top 10.
Super Mario Sunshine, anyone?
Pretty much agree with this list. Even Siren Blood Curse wasn't scary. Amnesia was incredibly scary though and has easily been the scariest game this generation.
I get how people find Dead Space scary. Not saying they're bad games, they just don't succeed at being 'scary' because you're just blasting your way through aliens with powerful weapons.
Looks like it plays well. Good to see!
I think GTA V will be on Wii U. Nintendo have had the pleasures of the casual market for awhile but have found it dries up quickly. Look at your own familiy. I for example, bought a Wii for my Mum awhile back for her birthday. At first we'd play it at Christmas when the whole family went round but the damn thing never gets used now. So we never, ever buy anything for it.
Nintendo wanna grab back their old hardcore crowd. Darksiders 2 is gonna be on the Wii U, so why not G...
RE4 just achieved the perfect balance between action and horror. The atmosphere was thick, the new setting felt strangely alien and it just took the franchise in a freshing new direction.
They got a little carried away with 5. Horror games are a lonely experience and its clear RE5 was yet another changing point for the series to be geared towards action than horror.
*Looks at title spits out drink and laughs furiously*
Oh I'm sorry, its just a misleading title. Cause it sounds like you're saying Batman is a better RPG then Skyrim, which is a ridiculous statement.
Then you go on to talk about how your character in Skyrim is an asshole an such and how Batman is awesome.
Batman is awesome and its awesome to play his role in Arkham City. You can be whatever you want to be in Skyrim and you actually ...
Excellent mode, nice to give gamers a challenge rather just 'upping the difficulty' it actually changes the way you have to approach the game.
I was looking forward to this game, even more so now.
I kind of agree.
Don't get me wrong, Arkham City was a brilliant game, I sat down and didn't get up again until it was completed. However, it lacked the focus of the first game, but of course it would because they had to make it bigger in every way. But sadly, it lost the focus that I loved about the Arkham Asylum.
Max Payne 3 sits comfortably at the end of the fiscal year (just before april). May would be a new year and what better way to start it then to have one of your hottest selling products ready?
May or June I say.
I reckon they'll give it Dark Souls. They gave it Demon's Souls a few years back, so Dark Souls should be a shoe in.
Boooo!
If the teasers are anything to go by, its a post apocalyptic world, a virus has brought down society. I was going to say Zombies but on the teaser you hear some kind of scuttling while someone breathes heavily. Insect overlords, perhaps?
This is why I get pissed off with Bethesda. Everyone gives them a free pass on the bugs and glitches in their.
"They add character to the game" some say. Or even "They're funny and add charm"
But stuff like this is ridiculous. They know there is a problem, they know the problem exists cause it happened with New Vegas when they let Obesdian use the engine. Did they spend time looking into the problem before Skyrim was released? No. It...
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HA
I hope its summer 2012.
Although not as big as GTA, Max Payne 3 got its first trailer a few months back. Tomorrow we see the first trailers about the design and what went into making the game and its set for March 2012.
R* seem to reveal their games, wait awhile then show you what you will do in the game over several months before the final release. Look at Red Dead as well.
Q3 2012 seems likely as I think R* realised showing a game a long ...
Agreed FlameHawk. I like Assassin's Creed, I even enjoyed Brotherhood as it did so many things right and would of accepted that as a one off. I just wish after ACB they'd gone away for a couple of years and made a final installment that is ACIII.
I'll pick Revelations up, but not at full price.
C'mon man, it was one of the highest received games of 2011. Yeah, the Framerate issue hit quite badly at some parts, like in Blighttown for example. But, it was a great game and there should be more like it.
