Since many people seem to love the vita then my opinion may be hated.
Just seems the point of the vita is for gaming on the go. I couldn't imagine playing a game like this on a handheld. Although to be fair I couldn't imagine taking something like the vita anywhere with me. Pull that out a bus in Manchester and expect to wake up with a broken nose later on after you've been robbed.
I can't WAIT ANYMORE! I WANT IT NOW!
Dark Souls. That is all.
Get in there Dark Souls, you bloody deserve it!
Sigh.
What's the point in this article? Could be to pull in the Skyrim fans (because it is the more popular game here) and start a bit of an argument.
Comparing a game like Dark Souls to Skyrim is pointless. From TES series I have only played Oblivion. From that, they're vastly different. TES creates a huge, massive world for you to explore. You can go anywhere, do anything, talk to people, walk through the wilderness ect. That's its immersion, a ...
But this was the Japanese release only, they're weird over there, I bet they thought it was funny and kooky. Over here we'd all go apeshit about it because it'll be 'really unfair' wah wah wah.
It's From Software having they're own unique punishment for they're own unique game. Players could have opted to play offline but they didn't. Since the release day was still days away, why not have some fun with the early players. Also the release ...
This is will look great sat next to my limited edition Demon's Souls.
We know already. This story has been posted many times now.
You do realise this is the person that wrote the Demon's Souls review for Eurogamer? I think they're pretty capable of the playing the game, she's just trying to get across that Dark Souls is whole new ball game when compared to Demon's Souls.
DLC certainly is a tricky subject.
I'll admit I was overjoyed when I read that FS wasn't having any DLC for Dark Souls. I guess you're right, its comforting to know that it's one time purchase. It could of been very, very easy for FS to take out some parts of the game, parts you probably won't see until several playthroughs in and make them DLC. But they didn't, it's all in there and yes, it makes me happy to know that I'm getting a quality pro...
Demon's Souls 2? It'll be highly unlikely there will be one considering FromSoftware wanted to make the game multiplatform, hence Dark Souls.
It's Demon's Souls is everyway possible but just expanded upon.
I really hope your reasoning isn't because of some 'exlusive' thing.
I can't wait to just immerse myself into this game. I book off the Friday for its release so I have an entire weekend of playthrough it and I don't think it'll be nearly enough time.
I hate that people compare these two games. They're very different and sadly this title has is just dragging in as many people as possibly for an all round debate on 'which will be better'.
Look on other stories about Dark Souls, most will have a maxiumum of 30 comments, the average is between 10 and 20. The fact this story has Skyrim in the title in such a way is just begging for people join in.
Skyrim will be big. Massive even. Dark Souls is b...
I think this is just FromSoftwares way of fucking with players early. The game isn't officially released yet, there won't be much online activity so I imagine the developers went "Ah screw it" made some high levels and jumped in to fuck with 'em. Once the official release date arrives (tomorrow, I think) it won't matter.
Oh I'd love a Manhunt 3. Never played 2 but I loved Manhunt and if they made a third which stuck true to the original then I'd definately go for it.
Thats so awesome! I can also imagine the players are having a ball trying outrun those high level BP.
Amnesia was brilliant. It's atmosphere was thick with horror. Play in the the dark with headphones on and it's fantastic.
I don't find Dead Space or Siren: Blood Curse particulary scarey. Forbidden Siren on the PS2 was bloody scary.
Dark Souls is going to be bloody brilliant.
Yes, I probably sound like a fanboy but I adored Demon's Souls so much, and the surprising success it found that went above and beyond what From Software has inticipated, they'll have poured so much time and effort into Dark Souls it's just gonna be bigger and better. And 360 owners get the game as well. Its win win.
Was reading the comments regarding the difficulty. Yeah, Demon's Souls difficulty re...
Ahhh Manhunt, how I miss you...
I could tick off a few but a game mode I will never, ever forget...
Devil May Cry - Dante Must Die. I think the sheer difficulty of that sometimes brought tears to my teenage eyes. It probably would now.
