I would make fun of you for this ridiculous statement, but it would be too easy to even be enjoyable.
Haha, we shall not speak the name of that abomination...
Honestly, I'm kind of sick so I'm not going to try and make my stuttering brain form a coherent argument. All I will say is consoles benefit greatly from PC development, and PC's benefit greatly from console development. I prefer console gaming, but I wouldn't be dismissive of the notion that the PC will become more prominent than ever.
Hopefully both sides understand that they benefit from each other.
If consumers view the Wii U an "inferior" I doubt they will then compare it to the Xbox 360 and PS3 and still buy it when they obviously didn't feel it was worth it. It's like looking to buy a car and seeing a great value for 10K and one that seems crappy for 9K but opting to buy the 9K care because there are other 9K cars that are slightly worse.
I get what you're saying, and I suppose it's possible that some people might look at it that way. I just...
It seems like every time I see an article from this website it elicits similar reactions of, "are you kidding me?"
This one appears to continue that trend.
How does somebody who makes a comment like this have more than three bubbles?
I'm not misinformed about the cloud computation possibility of the PS4, in fact I consider myself well informed. It actually wouldn't take a large investment from Sony, as it's purely software based. Plus, nearly everything I've read concerning cloud computing points to how little can actually be done. I consider it a moot point from a general perspective.
As for features, I suppose if you include things like Kinect voice navigation and snapping secondary appl...
I am getting so tired of QT3. I get there will be dissenting opinions and all that, but SO often he rates games VASTLY different than the majority of reviews. I sincerely want to know what it takes to be a professionally cited critic on Metacritic because I'm sick of his attention-grabbing. It's hard to express my frustration, so here's an example:
The Darkness II (100) – Avg Metascore 79
SSX (100) - Avg Metascore 82
Out of the Park Baseball 13 (10...
If you honestly believe people get excited for games like Wii Fit, then I'll never be able to talk sense to you. Wii Fit sold 23 million, but it's less a game and more something to help you exercise. Wii Fit is the third highest selling game of all time, are you really going to commit to your logic because that would suggest it's one of the best games ever made.
It's pretty clear you are a Nintendo fanboy. And not only that, but I'd be willing to bet that ...
The Xbox One's controller looks better; I THINK the DualShock 4 will play a little bit better. At the end of the day the only significant difference is the analog sticks - some have gotten used to the Xbox's configuration while people such as myself prefer the much more natural positioning of the PlayStation controller's analog sticks.
I was making a joke you party pooper....
First of all, and I know this is rude, but you are delusional if you think those games compare to the games coming to the PS3 or, possibly, PS4.
Games that have come out:
Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch
Injustice: Gods Among Us
BioShock: Infinite
God of War: Ascension
Tomb Raider
Crysis 3
Metal Gear Solid Rising Revengeance
Sly Cooper 4: Thieves in Time
DmC
Games still to be...
Xbox One games running on a laptop, NEXT GEN!
I kid. I kid.
Answer this:
You postulate that because the Xbox One has an internet requirement (a very odd 24 hour check in, but I digress) but what does the Xbox One offer from a fundamental level that the PS4 cannot? If a developer wants to create a game that requires an online connection so that it can offload computations to the cloud - which I'm extremely skeptical about - why can the PS4 not do that? Sony has come out and said developers could do the same thing with Sony's Ga...
The Xbox One is putting together a pretty impressive lineup of games. Personally, I prefer what I've seen from Sony, and think it's close regardless of preference; but I understand that more people would side with Xbox One purely based on games...right now.
A lot of people are going to preorder their console soon, if they haven't already done it. But what I would suggest is to keep an eye on Sony because they still have more games to announce, possibly quite a few...
At least try to be reasonable. How can any Wii U fan be excited about the Nintendo Direct? Literally every game they announced or gave information on are games you know, without any doubt, Nintendo would be making and likely soon except Retro making a Donkey Kong game instead of Metroid or something new.. What's worse, just about all of the big games are coming NEXT YEAR. Super Smash Bros., Mario Kart 8, X (Looks sweeeet), next year.
Meanwhile Sony was incredibly impressi...
I fully expect to be super excited by Destiny before it launches, but the gameplay demo left me a little mixed.
First of all, it looked beautiful. The graphic fidelity isn't going to match The Division or Metal Gear Solid V, but I definitely thought it looked good considering how big and open it's supposed to be. And the art style, love it! The Fallen enemies have this sexy, sophisticated yet beastly quality that I really enjoyed. I always thought the Covenant looked ...
fool.com is pretty appropriate.
"Off-topic(and not aimed at you) but: Hasn't MS done enough things to be hated on so far that we don't have to dredge up trivial things like this?"
Yeah, but the internet brings out a mob-like mentality where it's fun to make fun of things. It's cool to make fun of Call of Duty, so people do. Right now it's cool to make fun of Microsoft, and even though they did it to themselves we will continue to see commenters and sites take virtual dumps on t...
Good to see mainstream media is siding with the PS4 as well.
