The ending has definite resolution, I don't know why you'd make this face -_-

Obviously if you click on this article spoilers are expected, but still SPOILERS!!!

The beauty of the ending is there are a few different ways you can interpret the ending and have narrative proof to back up your opinion. To me, Joel saved Ellie because he's selfish. He was able to cope not just with his daughter, but to an extent what he was because of Ellie, so he decided he wouldn't let the Fireflies operate on her because it wasn't guaranteed.

Slightly off topic, but the thing I hope the next TES improves on the most is the combat. I love the series, a lot, but the combat hasn't evolved and in my opinion it needs to. I tried Demon's Souls for the first time a couple days ago, and the simple parry/repost system is a very elegant way to implement tactics in melee fighting using two separate abilities that still functions perfectly fine on their own.

Regardless, the mods for Skyrim are really cool. It's aw...

Kojima seems like a pretty awesome guy. I love, love Metal Gear, but I do hope that he is able to fully leave the series behind whenever he's told the stories he wants to and doesn't feel beholden to its fans to keep creating more.

And The Division looks sweet! Great games SHOULD push creative developers to try even harder. This is good news :D

Actually, there were a couple patches that broke the game. It's fixed now, but it's very understandable if you decide to stop playing because walking into a puddle of water crashes your game...

"The spectacle of watching a relative newcomer to the video game industry — Microsoft — trying to give something back in the way of digital rights management (DRM), only to be publicly slammed by the very fans of said industry to a point where they hit the ‘abort’ button was nothing short of sickening."

What. The. Hell.

Microsoft was trying to give something back by imposing DRM? Seriously. Look, I'm willing to admit that there were SOME nice th...

The PS4 is at least %50 more power, and that's if the rumors that Microsoft might need to downclock the Xbox One is false.

The Xbox was much more powerful, but the PS2 was coming off a stellar console cycle and followed it by having a ton of great games and a DVD/CD player. The Xbox had no brand recognition and other than Halo: CE not many wide-appealing games.

At the end of the day, the most important thing is games. Games aren't the only thing that ...

There is a similarity, no doubt; but honestly Ellen Page doesn't have a face that is that remarkable - as in Willam DaFoe or Ron Perlman have very unique faces. I don't know why she would be upset at all, especially given how great the game and Ellie's character are.

I hope so too. I'm critical of Nintendo, but it's because I love Nintendo and want to see the company push itself. Right now it's in this weird middle ground where Nintendo clearly wants to stick with what it has always done - games centered around fun gameplay and generally a lighthearted experience. And I'm fine with that. I just want to see Nintendo also try to give us some more mature titles and overall new IP's at the same time.

The Wii U is a casual ...

The Wii U is really, really struggling and most of the anticipated games for it are coming next year. So, I think the more appropriate question is: Is Nintendo doing it wrong?

I hate third party exclusives because it means a game that would have gone to all consoles (or both Sony and Microsoft) didn't because a company threw money at it. Not only do I want good developers to make as much money as possible - which generally means put your game on every system - but I want gamers to be able to experience as many games as possible.

Sure, it makes for interesting arguments over who had better exclusives and all that. But from a practical standpoint...

You're getting the Xbox One first because of promise and potential considering everything Micrsoft has tried to do and how shady they have been?

Seems like a very, very odd perspective to me...

I'm sorry but this is just plain stupid. If the Ouya could play the triple A games the PS4 and Xbox One could, then I'd at least take this seriously. But it can't, and it won't.

Halo: Combat Evolved launched with the original Xbox in 2001. Killzone launched in 2004.

Unless all FPS games are the same, these franchises are definitely different. Not the difference of Half-Life 2 and Call of Duty, but a definite difference.

Haha, Sony is far, far from perfect. But as a gamer, I just feel a lot more confident in them than Microsoft. And while I perfectly understand if there are people who are more compelled by one or two of the Xbox One's exclusives, I would definitely suggest caution all things considered.

Honestly it's smart to wait at least 6 months for a new console. But with the Xbox One and all the obfuscation and backpedaling (along with troubling RUMORS), I think it's crazy to...

What company do you trust more for games? The PS4, with Sony's track record of exclusives, a more powerful console, a more open system especially for indie developers, and a console with a company clearly focusing on gaming.

Or Microsoft.

Tough choice...
