It's a way for people to access the community levels without needing either of the PS3 games.

There are limitations though. The levels are selected by developers, you can't just jump into anything. There are social elements, but I haven't seen much in the way of explanation as to how they'll differ from the multiplayer modes in the base games.

There are also challenges, which are, again, developer chosen, although you'll also be able to se...

It doesn't need to escape persistence. Official drivers are coming 2014.

Well, I reported it, but apparently facts don't actually matter.

This is one of three Red Dead Redemption 2 listings on this specific site alone. The description on the other two just read "Houser brothers for president."

Non-story.

Wouldn't that be awkward? Just you and him, alone in your room?

The official drivers are coming 2014. Someone might get it up and running ahead of that.

Better guess, this late in its development cycle, is that they can't pull 100 dev kits to run at this sort of reveal.

That there wasn't a single Xbox One there is worrying, but only if you don't ask what the point would be, with 100 computers that can run the game as well.

Depends. At its simplest level though, presume that equivalent specs means that Microsoft have built rigs that run as well as the Xbox One does.

They'll have taken into account OS and such.

Unlikely he's back with Epic, but aside from that I don't think we know what he's up to.

Might well be building in the Unreal Engine though, wherever he is. That wouldn't be a huge surprise.

That's not really what he said, is it? He said that the best way to avoid categorizing people is to ignore skin colour, specifically in regards to black history month.

And in fact, that interview pretty much sums up why it's a problem in the first place. A white guy saying "but without black history month, how will we get rid of racism?"

@rainslacker

No, I'm totally fine with people hating the player. But they should understand that there IS a game, and not everything is as simple or obvious as it first appears. No journalist - no matter how influential or popular - is going to get a developer to say something they don't want to, and that's what leads to a lot of the negativity in the industry.

In fact, that's true for all forms of journalism. If we don't get the story our...

@Abriael

Yup. Because that's exactly what I said.

Let me ask - do you twist your work this way, or is it just in your comments that you let your charming personality shine through so nicely?

EDIT - And your site has over 3500 N4G submissions, almost three a day for every day you've been submitting stories. Are you really going to pretend like all of this is beneath you?

Nintendo releasing Wii U trailers for these games on their official website, along with release dates and prices, as well as the words "virtual console" prominently displayed in the description isn't enough proof that this is happening?

You're a hell of a sceptic.

Not by Square Enix, but Avalanche - specifically certain people within Avalanche - have said multiple times that they're working on JC3.

"SEO is nonsense."

"Google has written algorithms that crawl sites that add value to the content that they're providing."

"Also, it's all about the strength of the links pointing back at you and your posts that will get you a better ranking."

"Covering the entire situation and being thorough with your data is what get's you those link backs."

So what you're saying is tha...

I replied to another of your posts, but I'll reply to this as well.

Do you know how long you have to post a scoop? I'm guessing not.

I average out at around five minutes, but I could probably take as long as seven (for 200-300 words, SEO-rich, pictures sourced, fact checked). Some very poor journalists might just post the press release or write up a single sentence with no clarification as well, so even that isn't certain.

Of the ...

@JoelT

You're joking, right?

If you create good content, it'll be lost in a sea of SEO and faster updates. The very basis of the internet is built around hits and trusted sources. That's why nobody will ever knock down any of the big sites; they're just too into everything.

If you don't have any hits, and you're not the one to break a story, nobody reads your work. It doesn't matter if it's the best thing ever,...

Experience don't pay the bills, and the bills are very high.

Wait until the next-gen consoles have proven themselves. THEN you can complain about cross-gen games.

How do you figure? I'd say a job posting from the studio we now know is working on Just Cause 3 is about as specific a source as you can get.

They may change their minds, but.nothing we know about next-gen suggests they would.

@slimeybrainboy

Your analogy only works if nobody would buy or make wine if it wasn't forced with the steak.

Developers can and will prove Kinect works, but only if everybody has one. There's no point in making promises if the only people who will see the fruit of that labour are soccer moms and kids.

Forcing Kinect will make it a successful device worthy of ownership. Taking that away will kill the whole idea and any potential innova...
