This is proof that it only takes a few vocal fans over the internet to make it look that an IP is bigger than it is.
How is this an exclusive?
Every gaming media in the world had the same info.
It's not for Quebec it's for France, where Japanese culture is very popular, so they put a little extra care for their clientele there.
Good occasion to cancel and wait for the inevitable Complete/Goty/Ultimate edition.
The demo would not work as a game. An extended demo was shown to journalists and they said they could not touch the controller and were forbidden to even ask questions.
It's probably not ready for people to test the scripting and explore the alternate rout in the road segment.
Gears 4 looked underwhelming, other than that a solid show. The hardware part boosted it, but no big news in terms of games.
I think maybe the trial should be changed in function of the sale price.
If you sell a game for $2 like one of the examples quoted, the experience is probably pretty shallow, and it's very likely that most people will have explored most of the game's gameplay systems in 2 hours.
These types of games, like mobile game are often impulse purchases.
On the other hand, if you are selling a game for more than $20 it's your duty to present gameplay syste...
It didn't sell very well on consoles, like most strategy games except a handful of Tactical JRPGs with a big name attached to them, so I'm not too surprised.
Quests look more flexible in The Witcher, with some sequence breaking allowed.
In Skyrim, if a quest giver has not let you in through a scripted sequence, you can't enter many quest locations.
You do have more gameplay systems in Skyrim than Witcher 3: lockpicking, stealth, stealing... But they are not always put to good use with a lot of cut and paste dungeons, and some keys or doors whose use can be arbitrarily limited to make the quest design more manageable for the dev...
So basically it's just a link to the official site of the game with a hyperbolic title added by the poster.
Does that qualify as journalism or advertisement?
So Kinguin thinks that Warner is going to let them use the copyrighted logos and characters of their franchise on such a site, despite the fact that they sell unauthorized keys?
What I find strange is that in my understanding, hyping something as pro-gay is not the Japanese way to do this kind of stuff.
I thought in Japan sex was a private matter. It is not discussed in public, gay or straight, and as such gays do not really feel the need for the community at large to validate the legitimacy of their orientation since it's a private matter for everyone. As such consumption of gay-themed pop culture is not an contentious issue.
At least that's ...
The crowds have not become any more realistic with next gen;
Japanese games are much more hardcore than ours.
This game is an open world game likely to feature an array of interlocked gameplay systems.
So the notion that simplified gameplay is connected with sex appeal is patently wrong.
In fact, some of the most fan service heavy games have been methodical, long winded turn-based party-based RPGs.

There is still some money to be made with 360/PS3, so maybe they have hired a small studio to crank a spinoff on the cheap, and since it's a smaller title, they'll also port it to Wii U.
A bit like they did with the (terrible) World at War spinoff on PS2. Or Ubi with AC Rogue.
Given how obsequious Famitsu can be with big titles, I expected a bit better.
Same score as the Assassin's Creed 2D spinoff, wow.
Japanese culture is such that they rate even higher on average than western sites (which is saying something), so it's hard to separate good from great.
We need guidelines that ban hyperbolic terms from article titles posted on here.
Enough of these churned articles with a couple screenshots and delirious OMG awesome title wording.
This crap reads like a headline from the Huffington Post.
4 millions is nothing in today's gaming industry. You can't make a game like this for 2 millions or even 4.
Even the originals in the 90s cost far more than that and back then games were routinely made for a couple millions.
They knew that all along. They are just banking on nostalgia to milk as much money as possible from the diehard fans and minimize the investment risks by their real backers from the business community, who are going to provide the bulk of ...
