Let me guess, a niche indie adventure game with more than 50 comments for its review.

Yup, it's a PS4 exclusive!

How many of you did comment on A Machine For Pigs' review?

OK now give that engine to Obsidian so they can write the real masterpiece around it.

So basically an entire core functionality of the game (not just the multiplayer modes but a full blown gameplay system like environmental destruction) will eventually die when servers go down, almost like a partial version of an MMO's death?

A bit unsettling.

Portal Stories: Mel ?

Mass Effect 2: Less hubs than the first, less diverse quest resolutions, always shooting, but the shooting was tepid and the level design was cut and paste.
On top of that, the branching elements were not even that pronounced.

Beyond Two Souls: Wasn't that bad, but gameplay was still more rigid that was suggested by promo pitches. Actions still looked like QTE and had to be done in a preselected order.

Bioshock Infinite: square room level design, ...

I thought C2 was the best. It's not as open, which is what a lot of PC gamers were focused on, but the story elements, while spread out in a somewhat uneven manner, are better than 1 and bring some decent twists. The AI is also far less frustrating than C1 and C3.

I think there is a lot of snobbism in people's opinion of Crysis 2.

I though old Kinect emulation wasn't possible.
So can Fable The Journey be played with a controller?

If it's possible after all, I'd be curious if Steel Battalion Heavy Armor could become better with XBO Kinect.
It was an interesting game although it didn't work.

Twinfinite I kinda like you, but your vapid slideshow articles to max your traffic are really stating to p*ss me off.

That shot of the flame thrower armored hulk towards the end was a real sad moment for an iconic franchise.
What has become of you, Lara?

Now let's get Reach with Halo 5 and they'll be destroying holiday season.

What 3rd party support are they lacking?
Budgets are so high this gen, no non-Japanese AAA game can afford to bypass the XBO, especially in the shooter genre where XBO remains a big market.

It's probably "Dynasty Warriors 279: In A World of Fear and Despair"

His games are so melodramatic and derivative from a narrative standpoint that I don't see any studio entrusting him with enough money to make the type of stuff he'd want to make.

If they tweaked the gunplay to have less bullet sponges, that would be great, but it will probably be some useless crap like alt skins.

Don't know why they thought it would be better to have those horrid convex sweat sponges instead of these.

It's crazy that with all the piracy and lower sales, PC still makes them that much money, especially since they don't have big subscription games.

So the savings made by bypassing physical sales; avoiding used sales and retailers, as is often the case on PC, must be significant.
However PC revenue seems to be reliant on specific titles, because it looks uneven.

Is this Quiet constantly humming the same 5 second melody on the radio?
It's gonna get old fast.

3899d ago 3 agree0 disagreeView comment

Is it a full game now? I thought it was just a demo, or a short PSN title at most.

This site really is PlayStation Central.
A random review from an amateur site pops up more than 3 months after the game's release, and it's straight to the top 5.

Mmm, actually I notice that the same small site's review of Batman Arkham Knight has also popped up in the Top 4 right at the same time. Might be some foulplay at work here.
Or maybe Batman and PS4 are two fanboy favorite properties.

Arkham games have always used backtracking to previous locations and cut and paste sidequests to add content beyond what would otherwise be very short games.

Not surprised that they cut and pasted Batmobile shooting galleries in this one.
