How about facts from an Xbox fan? =)
I keep having PS friends asking me for information and being disappointed over and over again. Almost all of them plan to get it when God of War comes out and they don't even believe Sony anymore on a 2021 release. Some are considering a XSX for multiplatform games and Game Pass, considering its biggest exclusives look to be as far as God of War.
Sony IS doing a horrible job on a lo...
I agree. 👨⚖️⚖️
One needs to do some serious research in order to know what the PS5 does and doesn't, and when you've finished, you end up with more doubts than when you started. Users deserve better, considering what's going on on the other sidewalk.
I probably have a bigger PS library than you do. ;)
This is why it runs like sh*t even on the most powerful machines. This should've never been released. It's a joke... it's disrespectful and it damages Crytek's reputation.
What about Free Updates for 1st party Ps4 games? TLOU2? Ghost?... I'm still waiting.
Apologizes for their "genius" move.
Not sure what they're trying to sell here. An old, very unoptimized game that isn't a reference for performance or image quality anymore. Any game can run badly on high end hardware is it's this badly optimized.
Whatever these guys are smoking :/
Can't help to think that if Microsoft switched sides with PS (weaker console, rising games prices, secrecy/contradictions) the Series X would've born dead... just like the Xbox One.
Fortunately, that's not the case. They have genuine chances to build their own userbase which is not necessarily stealing those from PS.
@ABizzel1
So, you're basically saying Series S/X (with Game Pass/xCloud/Bigger and better First Party Studios) will perform around the same as the Xbox One, where MS launched a dead and overpriced console with poor 1st party support and gave away the first 3 years.
Wonder what's the logic behind that.
"2. It also proved that no amount of money and time can beat amazing / unrivaled talent as the PS5 versions of the games we saw looked nothing like Halo Infinite even with PS4 versions."
What the... lol.
Sony either deliberately lied to the consumer or made a last minute change, somehow pulling a PS4 version out of nowhere. It's that simple. You chose what to believe.
And yes, Microsoft was right from the beginning. I don...
Yes, but that's not the point. Those were going to be sold out no matter what, but it was about the madness and disorder it caused, when Sony said previously they wouldn't do that.
Same will happen with Xbox... but at least customers will know when and where to "get in line" and save some frustration and anxiety.
No, he does.
If numbers match, then Series S might perform better (in terms of frameratE) "at 1080p" than PS5 at whatever resolution they aim at - more likely on "Xbox Optimized Games" - provided that Series X could outperform PS5 in the higher end range of consoles.
You really need to be in love with the brand to call "Obscenely Attractive" a box with a render of the console.
I think it depends on how much you like the PS5 design.
This is how you do it right.

It's actually Sony boys trying to twist what they've been saying all this time: "But, but... Xbox is holding back the generation".
I'm pretty sure you were one of them =)
Next gen starts in 2021 to me, so I'll be getting both before the end of that year.
Not only that. They also embarrassed themselves. This is something Microsoft could genuinely use on their favor. Telling the truth is always the best way to go. You don't decide in a few weeks that a game would also land on another console.
Anyone endorsing this is either endorsing lying or misleading. There's no way to go around it:
“IT IS TIME TO GIVE THE PLAYSTATION COMMUNITY SOMETHING NEW, SOMETHING DIFFERENT, THAT CAN REALLY ONLY BE ENJOYED ON PS5”
By the way, this price increase will favor Game Pass. A lot of people won't be willing to spend so much money in games.
@RazzerRedux
Why wouldn't they? They're my friends you know... console preferences doesn't mean anything in life. Also, they know I'm pretty up to date with the news and am more familiar with technical details they aren't.
Anyway... It's the first time since PS5 has announced that I actually see press AND users heavily complaining about Sony's strategy (higher prices, awkward BC, pre-order mess) and self-sabotaged communication...
