User reviews are awful though and it doesn't seem to be bombed for any reason.
nVidia cards are unbelievable and yes, even the Mid End 3070 is 2x more poweful than a PS5. However, you need to invest a crapload of money in order to take advantage of them. PCie 4 Mobo + RAM + CPU + nvME (for Direct Storage). That's easily more than USD 1k.
Honestly... this game looks less appealing every time I see a gameplay. This is like Darksiders meets Darksouls, but without... soul.
You do realize that Mid-End (Not high end) 3070 cards will provide 2x the power of a PS5, right?
Even the Low-End cards (probably 3060) will outperform it, so it's just a matter of upgrading. Not a "problem".
Since it's using a Microsoft's technology that's going to be present in XSX, they should say that nVidia has partnered with Microsoft in order to bring the technology present in XSX to PCs, which is exactly what it is. Even Jensen (nVidia CEO) mentioned it in their event:

Yeah... I was referring to the article title.
It's not bringing anything from PS5. It's using Microsoft's Direct Storage. The fact that Sony marketed their SSD so hard doesn't mean nVidia got inspired by it. MS did it for XSX and PCs thinking of the next generation.
It's using Microsoft's Direct Storage. It has nothing to do with PS5. Microsoft had their own initiative for both PC and XSX.
@PitbullMonster
On Minecraft maybe.
Wait what? ... lol... nVidia is a HW manufacturer, not a developer, even though Cyberpunk and COD looked incredible with Ray Tracing. Even Fortnite did.
This also means that DLSS will become more and more popular among games, and this guarantees 4K + RT + 60fps on the highest settings. Also... those demos you're talking about... many of them will land on PC including those made by Sony. This is as exciting as it gets.
Yes it is!
Finally, a proper generation jump in video cards. This is a game changer. Many of my friends that were planing to buy consoles (XSX and PS5) are reconsidering their purchase due to this.
That's not going to be the case anymore. Horizon was to test the waters and it did just fine. Titles should release quicker and probably will have PC in mind from the groun in the future. Don't expect PS5 games to land on PC later than 1 year after release.

A 3080 should guarantee any PS5 game to be ran @60fps/4k at Ultra settings as it has ~2.5x more power. Heck... at this pace I'll probably run Horizon Zero Down at Max settings (4k/60) out of horse power with a 3080 before they patch the damn game.
3080 is about 30% more powerful than the 2080ti, for USD700.
I'm absolutely buying one...
And I'm also happy both Microsoft and Sony are releasing their exclusives on PC Woohooo!
I've just noticed Series X and xCloud were nominated and PS5 wasn't.
@Unspoken
PS5 games going to PC is good news and now it's official that Sony will start doing so more often/quicker.
I just hope they take it more seriously than with Horizon. I'm still awaiting for a performance Patch. After almost a month, all they did is release a couples of "crash fix" patches.
"There is a trade-off. At 30fps, you’ll be getting the full 4K resolution, making the game look super sharp on a 4K TV. If you want to play at 60fps, the resolution will drop."
I'll go for 60fps at a lower resolution instead of 4K/30fps every day of the week.
I'm glad they added 60fps. Should feel much better than the gameplay shown =)
Edit: They will have to lower the resolution in order to hit 60fps though :/

@darthv72
That or 4K upscaled.
Honestly, native 4k is overrated. Hope PS5 is able to pull off DLSS-like upsampling to compensate graphical power.
I guess we better wait for more reputable sites. :/
