@rainslacker
Where did you get that from?
I even did the same with the texture pop-up times on the Halo Demo and expressed my support to the decision to push back the game until it's done.
You guys need to stop thinking about this as if it was a football match.
Just because you asked it (it was pretty obvious to me) and I only went trough half the demo:

Yeah. I've noticed pretty rough framerate issues.
Not my cup of tea either but had some very nice looking moments. It's an interesting glimpse of the PS5 capabilities.
5 years. On the other 5 Don Mattrick and friends almost destroyed the brand.
They've rebuilt the brand, made the most powerful console and pulled off GamePass + xCloud. In the meantime they've overhauled/bought/founded new studios already working on next gen titles whose results we will be seeing in the next few years. It takes time in gaming but once they have all pieces together (they're almost there), we shall see a consistent output of quality content from ...
Not sure about Haptic Feedback. Adaptive triggers do sound appealing.
As for audio, I'm glad both PS5 and XSX are taking it to the next level.
Came out of nowhere and blew me away.
It's being Review-Bombed for being a Microsoft Game and we all know that.
It's the second patch and all they're fixing is the crashes. The game still performs like cr*p. -_-
Throwing in Ray Tracing is an extra challenge for developers in addition to switching platforms and using new techniques. No wonder they're still reluctant to go for RT. I guess they'd need to add super sampling in order to preserve framerates, and that also requires extra work. I guess we'll have to wait for devs to master RT techniques before it becomes a standard.
That's what we have for now. The console hasn't been released yet and these are new features and techniques that will take a while for developers to master.
The best tech showcase in a game ever, from the visuals to the cloud interaction. Not sure it's my cup of tea but gotta give props to MS for such an achievement.
Lol... I don't get why you guys are so mad at Microsoft making the right decision. I'd be mad at MS if they released a broken/unfinished Halo game. It's that simple. It just makes me realize that it was indeed, the best thing to do.
Chances are that Halo Infinite will boost XSX when Sony doesn't have anything big to release in that window. Who knows... it might end up being the best for the brand in the mid term.
Btw... Lol @RauLeCreuset a...
That's very opportunistic. Now we're judging games before they get released? Microsoft HAD to show Halo Infinite in their event. They had a console to launch and a big game among with it. We're in a world where listening to feedback is now being twisted negatively by fans of the opposite "team". Microsoft did the right thing on spite of the impact to their launch... that's the Microsoft true gamers want and I'm glad they did it.

"It wasn't a decision" ...
Tell that to those who released Batman Arkham Knight or Horizon Zero Down (PC), broken on release. You can always decide.
"If [the traditional console war] was our approach, we wouldn't put our games on PC, we wouldn't put our games on Xbox One, we wouldn't do xCloud and allow people to play games on their phones."
*Moving the goal posts* is what made many big companies succeed (Google, Apple, Netflix). Spencer is very accurate by saying that most are still stuck with the traditional console race concept. Thing is, if they succeed, those might arrive late to the party whe...
On contrary. I believe this game would benefit greatly from 60fps as well as Spider-Man.
