Xbox Game Studios has 4 games in the Top 6 on Steam (Grounded, Flight Simulator, Sea of Thieves and MasterChief Collection) They're doing phenomenal these days.
Also, RDR2 is #5-6... so, from the Top 6, five games are on Game Pass. That's a war Microsoft is silently winning.
Funny how desperate some people are to see Halo failing. I'm confident about 343 Industries. The game will deliver and it's still, by far, the best offering on games at launch.
Sony is playing the safe card. A very small game based on the same assets as on the past generation's Spider-Man. That's all they have for launch, which would be surreal in other generations.

For immediate comparison, you won't have to wait much. Multiplatform games will look better on XSX, and he's a 3rd party developer.
His rant was justified though. All multiplatform games looked better on the 360 for years.
All this will become a massive PR boost if Halo Infinite does make an important graphic improvement.

From those games, nothing was shown.. or in the case of Everwild, it did look awesome, but just didn't get what it was about.

The fact that they decided (wrongly) not to show actual gameplay doesn't mean it doesn't have games... they just didn't show them in action, and that was the frustrating part of it.
Sony prefers going on a different direction and is not rare for them to show "doctored" gameplay like in Ghost of Tsushima and TLOU2 unveils that look way b...

They've saved way too much. If they presented the exact same games, but with some attractive gameplay, I'd rate it 9/10, but MS limited themselves to show very brief bits of their games except from Halo while giving a lot of time to games like Tetris... and that made it frustrating.

XSX is still a day one for me, nothing has changed, but they really need to hire someone who knows what people want to see on those events. They had the content, they just spent way too much time on secondary titles and left us with virtually no content for the heavy hitters.
I agree. It looked "weird" on the stream, but look gorgeous on the Direct-Feed. It's my best game of the show... who would've thought.

I guess they're saving for 2021, where the games are actually going to be released. Only Halo and The Medium for 2020.

I'm gonna be honest here. PS5 show was better... but not because of content, but because of how they carried it.
MS had a big opportunity to fuel hype with this game, Fable and Forza, but all them (not mentioning Hellblade, with zero new content) were shown with confusing/short teasers or in this case, the trailer stopped just when I was ready to enjoy some next gen gameplay.
Said this, Series X launch lineup is still stronger than PS5... I guess they...

I know the games are there but these are the kind of choices I don't understand from MS. They've failed to build hype on games with their events.
I also don't expect Forza to come later than GT... but no gameplay was shown either.

I'm happy they finally announced Fable but I hated the black humor they used.
The game from Obsidian looks good but it was a mini-teaser.
We also didn't see Forza Gameplay.
Not saying the games shown were bad but they gave too much time to timed exclusives or medium budget games and almost nothing to Triple As.
As said before, Sony is "winning" and Outdated Console War. Microsoft is playing a different game.
