Based on the fact Square Enix kept pretty much radio silence on this title, I don't think anyone expected anything different.

Its a shame really, if they combined all their resources for their disappointing games into one title, it might actually be a good game. Whilst more titles will make them more money in the short term, they're pretty much running a false economy. People will stop buying their games.

Before jumping on the blame train, its worth considering that GTAIV was three times the size of this game (as politely pointed out by the article) and that fit on to one dvd. If anything, the size of the map being smaller is a design choice and will potentially make the game more cohesive, as travel around GTAIV became somewhat of a chore to me.

The reason the Lib Dems seem like the lesser of the evils is because they've never had the opportunity to make the decisions on which we judge Labour and the Conservatives. They essentially have a clean (and thus potentially corruptible) slate.

They'll have to toughen up to actually do something worthwhile with this country, and once they've gone through that change there’s no going back. We'll see how virtuous they are then. If they do get in, then I hope they can maintain their...

Or I could just keep my backwards compatible PS3 that still works perfectly?

I and many others have no need for the Slim whilst our original PS3s are working as good as ever.

I was more suprised that Square decided to release NIER this month.

Theres been very little shown on it, and with a worldwide release within the next 26 days I dont have high hopes for it...

I'm inclined to agree with Baka-akaB and Reibooi. Once I got past the first couple of hours and Snow no longer seemed like a one dimensional douche, I really enjoyed the story and character development.

As for saying its the poorest for story or character connection, I'd have to raise the XII defence. I mean look at it; The story was barely even noticeable, let alone developed. And as for character connection, were there even distinguishable characters in XII? They were all carbo...

I completely agree. Whilst I loved Morrowind, I got bored of Oblivion very quickly and was hugely let down by Fallout 3.

Brian Fargo, however, is a legend. I can't wait to see what he cooks up this generation, seeing as HEI$T was cancelled.

The story looks intense but I'm actually more excited about the co-op campaign after seeing the trailer and gameplay for it. It looks to add a new strategic co-op dynamic that I haven't seen in the genre before.

@LehJavier

Thats a DirectX 11 screen, why would you post that for the 360? It even says it in the title of the image.

That being said, the 360 version is shaping up to look pretty damn good as well, I'm looking forward to giving it a whirl.

Perfect Dark is awesome. That said, E3 usually unleashes a whole host of new XBLA games for release later in the year.

There were Shadow Complex, Splosion Man, Monkey Island and Trials HD last year that came out the latter part of the year. Who knows what we'll get thrown at us this time?

I've done exactly the same. My PS3 will stay off until all this blows over. Its not really that big of a deal, but its also better to be safe than sorry.

I've been looking forward to this game since it was announced only to have it ruined by some prick on this site a week before it releases. Needless to say, I was not impressed.

As retaliation, I'm ruining God of War 3 for everyone.

Kratos is the killer.

BAM. Have that.

Yep, spoiled for me too. I stumbled across one of their deleted posts by accident, completely unaware this was going on. Unfortunately, the spoiler is in their username so it was still there.

Really pathetic, it hardly even seems worth buying the game now considering how much emphasis is on finding the killer.

@Kakihara I'd stay away from this site in general, it wasn't in a comment section for Heavy Rain that I had it ruined, it was just some generic N4G article.

I'm interested to see how this game plays. I've heard good things but I'm skeptical as to how well it will have aged. It's been out in Japan for ages now.

@Raiinstorm81, you should definitely pick up Valkyria Chronicles, it was a fantastic experience.
