DarthBillBoy, do as PS-Wii-60 said and pick up Shadow of the Colossus. It`s a great game, even though i`m stuck at some bloody boss who keeps killing me with lightning. I must give it a try some time soon again hehe. And ohhh pick up MGS3 too ;)

I agree with most you said. Fanboys from both sides will still see it as a betrayal though when one of their exclusive game switch sides.
For companies though it`s about maximizing their profits, getting payed for a time exclusive by one company, and when the contract expires they port it to other consoles to get the players that didn`t pick up the console to play it, but now will buy it, as it`s now on their own console.

You mean like the MGS4 and FF13 rumors on 360 that never seems to go away either ? Because fanboys will always want great games on their system, regardless if they say the games suck while they`re on the "other" platform, they know they are really great deep down. I`m not going to mention names, except one that rimes with fart to get my point through.
I see Bioshock as the most likely to cross sides from the three games i mentioned, even though PSU isn`t the best sour...
Yeah, let`s hope so and that it`s not another rushed port. A port of Bioshock like the Oblivion one would be great for the PS3.
The first step would be a confirmation of it though, and that`s not going to happen this year, if indeed at all.
PSU isn`t the most reliable source, as they`ve been burned several times before, but it`s an interesting rumor i guess, even though i don`t think it will happen.

It all boils down to personal taste in the end what`s the best lineup (few things in life are different too i might add), and i do think it`s going to be a great year for both the 360 and PS3.
But personally i think the 360 has the best lineup this year, with Halo 3 and Bioshock first and foremost. Next year however, i would say the PS3 based on what`s known so far. The Wii seems to have the weakest lineup, with just Metroid Prime, Mario Galaxy and Super Smash in my opinion (...

I really hope the Medal of Honor series can find it`s way back, as the games have been pretty bad since Rising Sun.
Sony should pick up the man behind it, if they`re not already doing it.
This should be fun. With keyboard and mouse support, the advantage of the PC players should be less, although some of the console users will probably have to invest in a table to have the mouse and keyboard on, if they have the console in their room like me hehe.
All that remains now is to speed up the PS3-versions gameplay speed i guess, which you might be able to do with the game when it ships anyway (you could alter the speed with UT on PS2),

This price drop and Halo 3 should sell some consoles. Hope the same will happen for Europe too soon, so there won`t be another Sony situation.
Either way i`ll hold out until christmas to see if there will be another price drop for both the PS3 and 360, before deciding if i`m going to buy one.
I agree, i`m sure the game will still have some bugs though, but i really hope they can have a better framerate than in their previous games.
I honestly think this is better for PS3 than 360, as the PS3 is more likely to have a better year in 2008, than this. Can`t wait to see what both teams are coming up with on PS3, as they managed to create such great games on PS2.
Glad to see some developers give credit where it`s due too, although i suspect Itagaki do it the way it does because it`s more his style of humor or something f that makes sense. Must say i like Imsomniac, Kojima, Balrog and Cliffy B`s approach better though.
I though Bioshock could be good, but by the sound of the reviews this should be a must buy and could end up as the best game this year.
I really hope it get`s the sales it deserves this time around (from what i understand the previous games didn`t sell that well, correct me if i`m wrong), and don`t get too overshadowed by all the other great games coming out this year.
