But the guy who played it, surely didn`t know how to play it either. The game looks nice though.
The AI seems to be as it always is with MGS, a mixture between good and bad. He should spot Snake in the shadows there, as i do feel it seems stupid when he`s so close it`s more difficult to not see him. See the link to see more of MGS`s AI. The blowing up wall stuff is very good.

Gamespy at least admit they were wrong, which is a step in the right direction, but i think they should wait for the final code to set a score regardless. That goes for any site.

After seeing the trailer, i must say i`m amazed at the character models, great stuff. Wish they could have english subtitles so i could understand (a bit more) of what`s going on.

I was expecting a countervideo to the video of an "xbot" looking back at Halo 3, and Killzone 2 popping up which was released a few days ago (i think). That would have been more fun than reading this ;)
Can`t say i`ve read either of this sites, but fanboys sites are never all that fun. Funny videos on the other hand, i can live with.
I guess most people want MGS4, but by giving them a demo of MGS: Online with MGS4, they could convince them to pick up the online version as well. It worked with me with DMC1 for me, as RE: Code Veronica had a demo of it included and got me wanting more.
If it`s on the PSN it could work too, but i think to include it in the box, would get more people to try it, as they would go: "hmm, what`s on the extra disc included here", intead of finding it on the PSN (not everyo...

I`m definitely gaining faith in GG after this preview and the video from yesterday. The atmosphere in the environments and the blood in the trailer was awesome to say the least.
I guess the just a few questions remains: how will it play ?, how`s the multiplayer, is the fps stable (which it seems to be from the stuff shown so far), and is the AI good. Hope a honest preview of this will follow soon. Or a BETA ;)

Well, if the 80gig version comes with Motorstorm and Spiderman 3, while the 40 gig has none, that could be reasonable.
As long as they drop the price in Europe soon, i`ll be happy either way ;)
But i must say i`m disappointed with the footage. How little progression fighting games show is beyond me, and i`m not just talking about Tekken here, i`m talking about the whole genre.
Why can`t a fighting game get better physics than they have, with so little happening on screen ? The graphics should also be better because of the same reason. I do realize that it can be hard to get every move to connect properly with the opponent so that it actually looks like he/she is bein...

Hope the same will happen here in Europe, so that i can pick one up too. It won`t be enough to stop Halo 3, because nothing can, but it could get more people to get into buying a PS3. I know a lot of people who are just waiting for a price drop. With that said Sony do need a great system seller to get even more people to buy it, even at a 399$ price point. I know Sony has some good games coming this holiday, but i`m not sure they`ll be of a Halo3/ Gears of War k...

I have to agree with dauden on the choice of snake being Josh Holloway aka Sawyer from LOST as he looks and sounds like Snake.

Square-Enix have been remaking FF games for the DS, and even though a FF7 remake for PS3 would be a lot more complicated and would require a bigger install base, let`s all hope they`re just making their way up number 7 on the FF-series remake list ;)

Yeah i know. To bad most people dosn`t know all that much about games and just falls for any Jack Thompson guy who say it`s bad for their kids.
That Sony didn`t incorporate touchsense in the sixaxis, even though that might have taken more time to pull off, and in what Sony has shown for TGS generally, not many new exciting stuff to come out, although that could be said about Microsoft as well, to a lesser degree.
Can`t say i care that much about rumble anyway (i`m sure MGS4 will put it to great use though), but i was definitely hoping for something a more advanced.
