Agree completely, it seem games have taken over the blame which was placed at the movies before.

With MGS2 being too hyped up. The Raiden-section really broke the game for me, and it just got to weird near the end. I`m not sure if you know Mart, but MGS3 has NOTHING to due in such a list, since firstly it didn`t have as much hype as MGS2, and secondly it delivered one of the best games the PS2 has (THE best for me, although i`ll have to agree with you if you didn`t like the beginning of it, because it starts out pretty slow).

Funny stuff, even though i`m not so familiar with Street Fighter.
Then this would be great news for 360, as Square-Enix usually makes great games, and they could use some more japanese RPGs to compliment Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey. They have a healthy collection of RPGs incoming with :
- Mass Effect
- Project Offset
- Fable 2
- Last Revenant
- Insert game i`m forgetting ;)
...but they are american/english RPGs, so more japanese ones should help them improve their position in Asia, and with people ...
As long as the PS3 version don`t get delayed and somehow manages to play worse too, although i have a bad feeling that could happen with EA handling the port
but also with some errors like, fps-drops, bugs and dumb AI to sort out. It`s still early though, so i hope they can clear that up.
As long as he stands for what he says and manages to get EA`s multiplatform games to at least have more stable fps, that`s a good thing.
Must say i don`t agree with him on the monopoly-question. I think it would be better if all sports games could have the license so they would be accurate in that regard, and let the best game win. A lot of people buy FIFA because they see the name on the box and/or knows they have the license. I do want to see Pro Evo to start making progress ...
Criterion has always been great at making games and pushing the graphics for what`s possible on consoles while still maintaining a smooth fps. Hope the rest of EA can take notice of how to get games to run properly, because they need too.
If they can get the games to run equally on both platforms that would be great. Hope Sony announces rumble at TGS, so that the PS3 could get that too, if possible.
Interesting, i hope you`re right, because a FF7 remake would be great if done right. I don`t think it will happen tough, unfortunately :(
For now, i just want Crisis Core to turn out good. If it does, i`ll pick up a PSP asap.

Yeah, unfortunately PSU is gaining a history of reporting stuff which was untrue. They need to change their journalism style or journalists soon, i think.
Glad they`re going for a solid 60fps for both platforms (not including PC here), which should be good. Hope Sony steep up on their development help too.
I can understand the Halo 3 remark (perhaps Bioshock could be included too, although it`s more "different" in a way from the other two), but i do think he should include at least UT3 for PS3 (Haze too, even though it had a bad showing recently, i still believe Free Radical can pull it off).

I agree, it will probably be a 500$ 80gig PS3, and not another drop in price. I can`t see them dropping the price to 400$ this year.
I hope they have a rumble sixaxis, but that could be something to com next year too. I really hope there`s going to be a price drop for Europe soon (maybe TGS isn`t the right place for that though), as i might pick one up if it does.

if a demo would be coming out this year, as i think Killzone 2 will be delayed to around winter 2008, so they can get it right. But we`ll see. A demo would be great though, so people can get their own hands on it, and see if they`ve managed to correct the mistakes from Killzone 1 and if it plays good. I would really want to get my hands on the multiplayer the most, as i`m sure the singleplayer will be great.

You could move while shooting in MGS games before, all the way back to MGS1. Just hold down the x-button and you can move and shoot. I`m glad they`ve changed the camera though, as you now can see what you`re shooting at (kind of hard to do so when you have a top-down perspective sometimes).
I hope you can be the young Snake too somehow, as i like him better than the old, moustache bastard ;)
