It`s great news for PS3, because price is the main obstacle i`ve with it (the games are coming this year and in the next). I don`t know about the timing though, a price cut would make more sense around fall instead of summer if you ask me, but i won`t complain as long as it goes down hehe.
I`ll let the games coming out this year decide if i buy it at 500$.
most people who`s not fanboys know that up until this point most multiplatformgames have been better on the 360. What`s also known is that games can be great on the PS3, if they take the time and resources to do so as in Oblivion.

The last MGS4 trailer was good, so can`t wait to see what Kojima will show this time, but it would be cool to get a demo too like Bladestar said. This might be the game which makes me buy a PS3, so it would be nice to see how it actually plays ;)

Yeah i didn`t see it either, but the GTA3 character`s appearance in San Andreas was fun, so i hope too see some old favorites in GTA4 too. Nice find about this video by the way, very interesting to see stuff i didn`t see myself.
so was Freedom Fighter, which i think Kane and Lynch will use some of the same controls from too, so i have high hopes for this game too
Go to Rockstar`s own GTA4-page, if that isn`t clear enough. I think this looks great for a GTA-game, and if they can get it to run at a stable framerate, i`ll be more than happy with it. When has graphics mattered that much with GTA anyway ?
Aiming, AI, and what new and fun gameplay possibilities are what matters the most for me. Ohh well, if this dosn`t turn into another PS3 vs 360 debate, save that for when the game`s out ;), i guess the graphics criticism can continue.

I don`t own a 360 myself so i can`t share from personal experience with the console, but i guess it`s a problem which won`t go away for Microsoft. As much as i love Pro Evolution, i think the series has gotten a bit stall, while FIFA is at least trying to improve it`s game. And for this reason i decided not to buy Pro Evo 6, based on the reviews.

Yeah i think so too, and people who believe they will exceed the trailer have unrealistic expectations if you ask me. They will however, probably have a great looking game for us to see.
And as you said, it`s the gameplay is what should be the most important, even though we`ll most likely have to wait for the Beta to get a better understanding of that.
Either way, i think almost everyone wants to finally see in-game footage, so E3 should be very interesting this...
Athlon, yeah it would be cool if they got rag doll or at least get the kicks and punches to match better and seem more natural than before.
I think it would be cool if you could get to see the damage you had caused on your opponent better during the fight and between rounds, trough ripped clothes and hurt faces. The same should go for the environment. If i damage the floor it should stay that way trough the fight and not disappear, as in Tekken 5 when you make another crack in...
No suprise that Goldeneye is on top and it really deserves it, what a multiplayer. I didn`t get the chance to play the Riddick game, but it really sounds like a great game also. I remember the Lion King game, as a fun game too. I have not play either the Aladdin or Star Wars game so i can`t comment on them.

I`m sorry, but i disagree. Both Halo 3 and Killzone 2 are FPS and big guns for two competing machines, so they are in competition, because they might get people to buy "thier" console.
Nice find and great news. I was glad to hear it confirmed, as i might pick up a PS3 when the big games come lather this year now.
Don`t care about the fanboys, even though they can seem to appreciate Sony`s price drop (which will mean a 360 one too, and maybe soon, which will expand Microsoft`s base as well) and competition which will benefit us costumers in the end. Positive feedback from me.
