later this year, i wonder if Killzone will slip into 2008. And i would rather have it this way, than have them release it too early to compete with Halo 3.
Hope they nail the multiplayer, steady fps and a more varied experience, in addition to a good singleplayer game this time around.

Yeah i think so too, but it`s funny how stories like this get a lot of hits because people can let their imaginations and dreams wild and letting them turn into reality, even though nothing has actually happened.
With such a vague source as it`s in too, anyone could have made a story like it. But maybe something good comes out of it.

Yeah, i didn`t think of that, but i can see how you thought of it.
Imagine all the stuff they could do with the hand in such a game (you did get to use him in the PS1 game, but he`s part could have been expanded). It would be fun if he would comment the things you did in-game instead of in cinematics (like Army of Two seems to have), and you actually could control him directly, move him around areas yourself couldn`t go to (like Medieval)or if D was injured as in the film. Mayb...

I`m probably going a bit of- topic here, but people who like anime, should see the first Vampire Hunter D film (not Bloodlust). One of my all time favorites. They made a game which inspired Bloodlust too, which was an decent Resident Evil type game. It would be great to see a game on next-gen with D, although it will most likely just be a dream of mine hehe.

But if Final Fantasy 7 : Crisis Core turns out great, i will buy one. I`ll probably pick up Killzone : Liberation and Locoroco too, because they are supposed to be good, but not something that has made me buy the PSP yet.
i was looking forward to Aliens: Colonial Marines. Having good memories from the Alien Trilogy (i think it was called that) all the way back on PS1, which was a really cool game, i thought the game on PS2 surely would be great.
I think it`s a shame Aliens: Colonial Marines was canceled, because as anyone can see in the screenshots, the game seemed to have a lot of promise.
I hope the new Alien FPS from Sega can try to take the good elements from Alien vs. Predato...

Even though each can make his own list and there`ll always be some disagreements, i must say i find it strange to see Mario as number two. As far as i`m concerned he can be flushed down the toilette he was supposed to fix (but didn`t).
Inspite of the problems they`ve had underway, it seems like it`s turning out rather well, as the PS3 itself maybe will too ;)

FIFA may have better sales and presentation (the commentary is especially horrible in PES), but PES is still the best game.

I notice some people are a bit worried about if you`re going to wander around before getting in a game, which was my concern too when i first heard of it, but i think Home is more an option than a requirement for matchmaking. The more in-depth community, with more community i guess.

I can`t believe anyone complained about the graphics of GTA4, when the trailer was out. I`m just a bit worried how it`ll run fps wise, with all this stuff around.

Well that pretty much show just how good Halo3 is going to be, i`m sad to say i havn`t had the chance to play either, so i`ll guess i`ll just take you`re word for it, if you`re not some Halo die-hard fanboy hehe ;)
I agree, you said allmost all that was on my mind too.
And it could be an idea to wait for a finished Halo 3 before comparing it Gears of War, even though it would still be a bit unfair, because Gears of War `ll be one year older then.
and given Free Radical`s history, i think this will shape up nicely.
Hope they`ve changed the aiming mode from Time Splitters though. Especially on the sniper rifle, it was a pain to get the right feel of it and something more in the lines of Medal of Honor : Frontline would be appreciated.
