He`s talking about a FF7 remake for PS3, that would be awesome, but i don`t think it will happen unfortunately :(
Too bad they didn`t say anything about the commentary in this cut-down preview, as i would like to hear it`s actually better this time around, wouldn`t count completely on it as PSM3 has said it before (they`re a great mag by the way), but i didn`t agree. It`s one aspect that should have been able to improve though.
I also think the penalties should be manual, so that you can better choose the power of your shot. The same for long passes too.
and still don`t get them to run properly, is beyond me. You should at least think they could get better fps, when the games are usually the same every year.
The company needs to start making games that has better performance and play better. This shows that it`s not just the PS3 development which is the problem. In most cases with EA, i would say it`s EA`s own fault. You can look at their history to see what i mean. Pro Evo has never had the same fps problems as FIFA, and it pl...
Will sell well and get a sequel (or two) :)
When i read that Sony hadn`t followed their roadmap, which leaves me wondering if they can get a lot of the features implemented when it comes out this fall (not far away by the way).
Glad to hear the BETA-guy liked it though, and it seems like the core "gameplay" is fun. Guess they can always add more content afterwards too, so this sounded pretty good for me.
Glad the Wii has gotten a great game again, it has been a long period since the last one, although i`m sure many would say the same for other consoles too ;)
I`m defiantly considering picking up a PSP for this game. Looks fun and like a great looking PS2 game as well, seriously don`t know how Square-Enix pulled this of, but i`m glad they did.
All we need now is a FF7 remake for PS3 and the world would be perfect.
He`s obviously a good developer so i respect his opinion, but i`ll agree with Genki. PC-developers generally don`t like the PS3, because it`s different to what they usually work with. The 360 is more similar, so i think that`s why more PC developers tend to like it better, it`s also easier to port from PC to 360, than for PS3.
The PS3 can make great games as others above me have pointed out, so it`s nothing wrong with the hardware if you look past that it`s more difficult to w...
I think this whole ram issue can be dealt with. Consoles need less ram than a PC because the games are made specifically for them. They will probably have to downgrade it a bit from what the top spec PC`s will run it, but as he said, the game will be optimized so that it can run on weaker PC`s too, so i think it`s possible.
I just hope they take their time with the console versions if the decide to do one (or two i guess hehe), so that we don`t get the usual EA port. Crytek se...
Just grab a PS3 and play it baby ;)
I`m glad Guerilla is working on the multiplayer since it was one of the things they needed to correct for this game from Killzone.
The 720p resolution and 30fps also sounds good to me, and i really hope they can get the fps smooth, which would be a great accomplishment with those graphics. If they can get the core gameplay in the singleplayer to be a bit more varied (throw in a few puzzles or something), i think they could have a killer game on the way ;)
Then i got lot more excited for GT5 than i was before today.. It kind of strange to be the most realistic car simulator, but not have damage if you ask me. I`m still more interested in Burnout to be honest, but i see this as a great step up for the GT-series. Nice going.
Hehe defiantly agree with that. What`s sad about fanboys is that they always have to mean or do the opposite of what their hated firm does, so that they in fact get`s controlled by them in the sense that the just do the opposite of what they do, regardless if it`s "good" or not.
I also think one should ignore all the PR-bullshit, and just buy the console if it`s good.
30fps, is of course great if it`s stable too, so i`ll just have o a agree with everyt...
I`m glad Guerilla goes for a 30fps in 720p, and hope they get it to be steady too. With such graphics, i don`t think it has to run at 1080p, the fps is way more important for me.
TheMART, last i checked 1080p is just an option for games, it dosn`t have to run it to look good, won`t you agree ? And last i checked we`re only into the first year with the PS3 (first half-year actually here in Europe), so if games start to run in 1080p with 60fps in a year or two`s time, will Sony h...
I`m disappointed they didn`t add damage to GT5 though, i think that could make the game more realistic, as it`s supposed to be the most realistic car simulator around.
With that said, i`m more the Burnout-type (which has spectacular damage, but less realism), so i`m sure GT-fans will be happy with the footage anyway.
Must say i agree. It just didn`t look as fun as the jungle-section, but since i havn`t played either of them, it`s kind of hard too tell which will play the best. But it didn`t look as fun here no.
Crytek makes great games, so it will be interesting to see what they come up with. I wouldn`t mind seeing Crysis on consoles either, if they make the game specifically for them, and not just a usual EA port.
I`m still afraid Kojima will go overboard with MGS4 though, as he did with MGS2, but i`ll probably still have to buy it hehe ;)
And probably shows that if you start with the PS3 and then port to 360, you should have less problems, than with the opposite. I hope more developers get the multiplatform-development right, if they use the PS3 then port to 360 or a different method makes no difference, if the game can run equally good on both platforms (not saying there isn`t advantages to each platform, but that`s another debate), it should.
Hope this is a coming trend, but i wouldn`t count in EA as they are ...
The Katamari and MGS3 commercials were the best for me, but they were all insane in some way hehe.
