I got to say it`s tempting to buy a PS3 now, since they`ve got a great deal on it here in Norway, with Motorstorm, Resistance and Spiderman 3, plus two controllers, but i`ll wait for a price drop here in Europe before buying one.
That said, i`m jealous at all who get`s to play it because the game looks fantastic for me, and a demo would be fun to get my hands-on. Enjoy it those of you who can.
but i`m more interested in UT3 to be honest. But seeing as it`s Free Radical who`s developing the game, i`ll give them the benefit of the doubt because they always makes great games.
And, i agree with Captain Tuttle that it`s smart of them (and Epic) to make a timed exclusive for the PS3. Just look at all the extra attention, especially Haze, has gotten from gamers now that it`s an timed exclusive. 360 will have Halo 3 anyway, and will get both Haze and UT3 next year too.
I loved Resident Evil 4, so i`m glad they`re keeping the the same aiming-system too, while changing the setting a bit. Didn`t think i would end up in Africa for Resident Evil 5, so that should be interesting, and the exorcism (if that`s what happening to the guy with stuff coming out of he`s eyes) could be creepy.

it looks great to me. Granted the game could have better textures, explosions, flame-effects, and animations, but the game is not due until 2008. This is also a game video played in real time and not a trailer where they removed the stuff that wasn`t all that good.
What`s going to be interesting for myself, is seeing the progress they`ve made with the gameplay, which i`m not sure if they`ve improved enough. Can`t wait for preview or Beta though, as it will be very interesting t...

Call of Duty : Modern combat does look good though, and should be a great game, along with the other games in the video.
Hehe yeah, the grapple mechanic seemed very fun for this game, as did the rest of it. I think it will become one of the best FPS-games out there, with Half-Life 2, Halo 3 and perhaps Killzone 2.
I consider myself one of them and hope Sony reduces the price in Europe. The bundle is a good one if you want both games, but as i want Haze or UT3 instead for Resistance, so i`ll hold until they hopefully drop the price around winter.
For myself who live in Europe, i would have to say that the bundle coming here is a good deal, but i would rather have a PS3 at a lower price to be honest.
I get two controllers, but seeing as rumble is coming back as we all know, i would rather have one with rumble, than two without, because some games like MGS4 will probably make great just of it (hopefully the sixaxis as well). I think Resistance is a good game, but would rather have Haze or UT3 because they`ll be newer and...
MGS4 will be a PS3 exclusive, but MGS4: Subsistance (or whatever they decide to call it) could come to 360 a year later, which is my prediction.
To people who says MGS4 couldn`t run to a 360, i will say the same to as people who said Gears of War couldn`t run on PS3, why not ? I`ll give you some reasons why too :
1)MGS4 dosn`t look impossible to pull of graphicly on 360.
2)The MGS-series dosn`t use CGI, but in-game cinematics (as confirmed by Kojima on E3)...

I didn`t expect them to get Killzone 2 looking this good, or at such an early state.
Comparing it to the CGI, there`s stuff like the animations, flameeffects etc, that didn`t live up to the original, but as the pictures show, they have come close to the graphics, something a lot of people (including myself) didn`t think Guerilla would manage.
I was also glad to see Sony pushing the game to 2008, to make sure it`s not release too early, just to compete with Halo ...
Yeah i agree, he`s one of the few honest developers around. Wish more developers would do it too.
I was very suprised at the Killzone footage in a positive sense, and already think Killzone looks better than Gears of War, in my opinion (not trying to turn this into a flamewar here, and they are not in the same genre either, just expressing my thoughts here)
riqued, well this site is full of fanboys, so i guess one didn`t like Killzone 2 there.
The AI-system seemed interesting, and glad to hear it has many animations and combat moves (boring with the same attacks over and over again). The controls also sounded original and fun.
Hope they do manage to smooth out the cameraproblems, because that can be a pain in the ass in action games.
Looks good, but not great to me. The character model looks both good and bad to me, but i guess it could be because of the low-res picture, the colour on the Helgast seems very strange to me.
The shadow in the back dosn`t seem all that either. And i don`t know what that thing is to the left, but it sure dosn`t look good.
With that said, i think it`s better to wait for a trailer before concluding anything about it`s graphics yet, as a picture usually can leave a ...
We`ll see on E3 if it comes to 360, but i think it will be a timed exclusive if it goes this way. And if you look at the sales of MSG2: Substance on Xbox, i don`t seem to remember it did that great, so i`m not sure if MGS-fans are willing to wait another year to play MGS4 (i don`t think i will).
But as the 360 are cheeper than the PS3 and probably still has a bigger userbase, as the Xbox didn`t have over the PS2, maybe that would mean better sales for it. MGS-games usually sel...

I pretty much agree with you on that, but i do think Sony should have sweetened the deal a bit with the 599$ price point.
How about if you could chose one of Sony`s upcoming games coming this fall like Heavenly Sword, Lair, Killzone 2 or any other Sony game (Motorstorm included, if you absolutely wanted it), because the bundle dosn`t come until august anyway, so the games should come out around the same timeperiod (i hope). I`ll have to say i still think MGS1 was the best of them, the boss battles (Psycho Mantis, and the helicopter one vs Liquid especially) was great, the story had so many fun and unexpected turns and the gameplay is unparalleled for me.
