If you are referring to the taking bribes off one platform owner to gimp another like they did in Destiny then I agree with you.
But if you are referring to the fact that they may make the xbox one X version the best one because you are a ps4 fanboy then you are an idiot
I have 2 xbox branded Seagate drives attached to my xbox one. Never had a problem with either of them.
I would say it's very likely that the PS4 and Xbox version of these drives are exactly the same apart from the branding and would have no issue buying one for my ps4.
Although you could probably buy an unbranded version of the same Seagate drive for less
All these years I resisted chucking away my OG game discs because the 360's own OG backwards compatibility was crap.
Now it looks like I may get use out of them after all and with enhancements too.
Just hope it's more than a few titles that get BC especially Morrowind and Kotor

Not everyone has a PC capable of running those games well. And some people just prefer consoles.

The game can't be last on the Windows 10 store. The game is an Xbox Play Anywhere title.
In other words the xbox and Windows 10 version are the same. You buy on one store, you own on both.

Rocket league has nothing to do with Microsoft. Get that into your thick fanboy head. Even if it did it wouldn't require a paid subscription.
Also don't claim to speak for all playstation users especially in Europe. I've been a ps1 and ps2 owner in the past and am a current ps3 and ps4 owner. I want cross platform play.

A high proportion of ps4 owners will already have xbox live accounts and not even realise. Those accounts they create when signing into a Windows 8 or 10 PC are basically xbox live accounts.
It's not the only way. That's only for Minecraft. Ark and Rocket League wouldn't require an xbox live account.
Also you already create other online accounts on your ps4. Your PSN ID's are registered with other networks for various games. Square Enix, Activision, Ubisoft and EA already use their own servers and could quite easily just flick a switch to allow cross play between all consoles without you needing an xbox live account. Sony just wont allow it beca...
That's only for minecraft. An xbox live account wouldn't be needed for Rocket League or Ark Survival Evolved but Sony still said no to that.
Of course it's arrogance. Yes they do have the right to refuse cross play but it's still down to arrogance. They have the number 1 selling console. With that they can do what they like.
Last generation when xbox 360 were in the lead it was Microsoft who were arrogant. It was their arrogance that messed up the xbox ones launch just like it was Sony's arrogance in the ps2 generation that messed up the ps3 launch.

There are cases where inferior technology dominated
VHS was massively inferior to Betamax but VHS dominated is one example.
The original xbox was superior to ps2 but ps2 dominated.
Now i'm not saying the current xbox one is superior to ps4. We know that's not true. But the Scorpio will be superior to the ps4 pro but due to brand loyalty Sony currently has it...

The part about ps4 pro being superior because it has cloud saves made it very hard to take the article seriously.
If the author had done his research he would have knew that the xbox one has cloud saves as a primary feature and no gold subscription is required. It's far superior to the cloud saves on the ps4
