That was just one of many problems with his write-up including the fact I don't think he's actually ever played a FF game past maybe VII since they have put an increased focus on wait and play systems. He can also make sure he changes the battle speed and the ATB system up to increase the pace.
Seriously, it's all Ninja Theory and anyone who works with them does and it's getting old. If Enslaved isn't successful what are they going to do blame it on the PS3 version!?
I had to keep looking at the address to make sure it wasn't translated because wow, what a piece of garbage op. ed.
I will tend to believe that if the dev says it's so then it is, they are making the game. Sucker Punch was pretty candid about the question that was posed, especially since the question is completely irrelevant in the grand scheme of things.
That said, if I was a developer I would try to do it just to see what happens, the results would certainly be intersting.
What facts would those be exactly? inFamous 2, MGS:R and Rage are all still in development and until the finished product is released nobody knows much outside of demos at trade show. Hell, Rage isn't even shown off all that much and Rising and I2 have only really been shown at trade shows and if there was a demo it was the same one at each.
I really hope they don't plan on announcing their next console next year because it would just further segment the market and would create a veritable onslaught of backlash for an industry that isn't even close to ready for the next generation. I also don't think people will migrate from the 360 to another system in the same manner as they did at the start of this gen, and dropping Xbox 360 support to force players to move to the next system would destroy the traction they have ga...
Holy shit that's a lot of replacements. I mean I get that the games are good and the community is tight but I would have given up after 7 because anything past that is just ridiculous.
Where are you getting that the Move has flopped because it's been sold out everywhere in my area and it's only been out for two weeks which isn't enough time for it to be declared a "flop"!? And you are spitting out Kinect games like they are going to be the greatest games ever. On rails games aren't exactly everyone's cup of tea and there has been absolutely zero gameplay footage of the majority of the games you list. Way to be a blind fanboy.
What kind of crack are you smoking thinking that not only is Kingdom Hearts 3 coming out next year but will also be exclusive to the Xbox 360!? You are out of your friggin' mind with that crap!
Also, banking on Kinect games is the mistake Microsoft is making, not releasing is exclusives or having them lined up is secondary to that. People buy and play Xbox because of the online community built around certain games, if that starts to falter, or fail completely, they bett...
Are you seriously serious about that!?
It (Move) has a very good chance at a successful Christmas but I wouldn't be shocked to see Nintendo hit the $99 sweet spot by next Christmas. If they were going to announce a price drop they would have done it at a trade show and it would have been immediate to boost sales. That isn't to say it can't happen before Christmas but it's unlikely because they still want to roll around in the piles of profite they make at the current price point.
I don't know if you are aware of this but piracy is pretty rampant on the Wii and it uses DVD's so I don't see what you are getting at. If Nintendo developed their own, new format, it would mean a much more expensive hardware price.
I spent a lot of time in several retail stores over the last two days shopping for my kids birthday gifts and the Move was sold out at all of the ones I went to which was Target, Wallie, and BB. I lucked out and got the last two from them. That was just the Move controllers by themselves though, there were still plenty of bundles left but very few Navigation controllers, so there must be life in the motion controller market yet.
I agree that a Wii HD could be potentially t...
Not a bad deal and this is totally OT but I wish Insomniac, or someone at Sony would take a few days and work out a trophy patch for Tools of Destruction and Fall of Man so I could slide two platinums in there with minimal effort and add additional value to them.
Yeah, the same can be said for the disc replacement warranties also because if you manage to screw up a PS3 game so bad it can no longer be played you probably shouldn't be playing them in the first place. The damn things are tough as nails and my kids have put some of mine through the ringer and they still work flawlessly.
Cross game chat would be decent as would video chat....maybe, but it could be too distracting. The one feature that I really want is to be able to edit my trophy list, as in removing games from the list that I haven't and/or will never get a trophy on like Eye of Judgement. I'm sure there were other things to help make my point but I am so tired that I forgot them.
I have a pretty decent variety of avatars in my friends list but there are a lot of SF and Sackboys. They keep adding them but not at a quick enough pace really.
They actually said that bit at the end about the ball and playing CoD? Can other players see you now when you play online or would a person be so pathetic as to be embarassed by the color of the ball while playing online? That has to be the most retarded sentiment I have heard about the Move so far. For the record I think the ball at the end is pretty cool, for whatever reason it adds something to the normal experience of a game. I have no idea why I think that way but I do.
I expected the Reach effect to last a bit longer than it did but the game itself is still selling gangbusters, but the dropoff from week to week is getting larger much faster than it did with Halo 3.
As far as Move goes, I would like Sony to release internal numbers soon because I bought the last two from my BB tonight and they were out of Navigation controllers. Walmart was also sold out of both and the guy at BB told me he was surprised they had any in stock because they...
Something tells me this guy has no clue what he's actually talking about. There was a clear bias throughout the article and saying that you want to control a cutscene is retarded and would defeat the purpose. I like cutscenes regardless but I don't want to control them, whether in-game or CG, because it's about the presentation even moreso at that.
