Where did you get these numbers from?
I wish this was out already but if I was the interviewer I would ask what the chances were that we would see a sequel to SSHD because I love that game and would really like to see what they could do now.
For those going on about the exclusiveness of the title, who cares, they made and XBLA game, don't know if it was any good or not, and their next game is multi. Look up Outland because the game looks like it is going to be absolutely incredible.
That would make sense if their next game wasn't multiplatform, but I guess your theory works, in candy land.
I very much so enjoyed the demo which surprised me so I think I will be buying this in a couple of weeks because I spent too much on games yesterday and I am buying Castlevania next week. If you are on the fence or unsure play the demo.
I will be really surprised if this continues for very long and I can't imagine Sony will let it go without saying anything. This is predatory and fraudulent, and if people for whatever reason don't have any access to the internet at home, there are several places, like the library, for them to get it and install it that way.
I think Gamerzines is just trying to start shit because this rumor flies in the face of just about everything Nomura has said. I will go ahead and believe that his previous statements are true rather than this one but I still want KH3 to come out sooner rather than later. I don't even care if it's multiplatform, I just want it to come out in HD so it will do the series justice. I just wish Wada would stop forcing them to milk the handheld market as much as possible.
The secret ending in KH2 was for BBS.
I agree with that except to say that Birth By Sleep is pretty awesome and clearly the best of all the spin-off games that have been made to date.
That would be so win but they would have to doll them up in HD because they would look like shit otherwise, and add achievements/trophies. I have owned and beaten all othem on handheld but porting them to PSN/XBLA would make me stop wantign a direct sequel to SotN...at least for a little while.
I am not saying that it would be a bad or a good thing, but if it isn't done absolutely right, it would totally dilute the single player portion of the game and it's about Cole v. Beast and his journey to destroy it. Co-op would be cool because it may be fun to play as Zeke, but unless they make MP to fit within the narrative of the game it's pointless and there is now way to know for sure how many people will play it or for how long. There are just too many more people playing Co...
Are you trying to stealth troll because if you are you have failed. If Kinect posts' 300k in its first ten days I will be thoroughly impressed because as it stands right now, the media and people who have played it remain split on if the experience is good or bad. Kinect hasn't exactly been getting the best press and the video of what you need to do to set it up doesn't exactly inspire consumer confidence, especially for the casuals who will look at it like it's a pain in the ...
I see your point but the logic you are using is incredibly flawed. The first thing people who may chastise these numbers need to realize is that Reach came out in the same period so multiplatform gamers on a budget that may be wanting Move put it on a back burner because a new Halo came out. Second, it's VGChartz, while they do post numbers they are never really accurate and this number is likely higher. Finally, asking why developers would want to develop for Move with only a 300k userba...
You're such a tool it's almost ridiculous. 500k by the end of the year, way to be conservative troll, try over a million by the end of the year. If they can maintain the current sell rate, which they will, they will have no problem hitting more than a million by the end of the year. It's a very good start for the Move and with all of the positive reviews and word of mouth it should have no trouble catching on at all which is pretty clear by posting very good numbers during the sam...
This is a very long, and very interesting look into the state of Capcom and the amount of mouth running that Inafune does. I think he's an alright dev but he is getting seriously douchey and his comments disparaging the Japanese games industry is really pathetic because he isn't that awesome, nor are his games.
The person at this website reporting this news is a fool and doesn't understand the way an NDA works. If he says he will be able to say something about it in six months, it just means the NDA has been lifted and they are making an announcement which would be right on time for GDC and would make perfect sense. That way they can do a massive showing at all of the trade shows and launch in time for the holiday season as well as gauge consumer reaction to the 3DS and it's price.
There is absolutely no way Sony would launch the PSP2 at the same time as the 3DS with no press about it between now and then. Even if they announced at CES in January, they still wouldn't have enough time. The person reporting seriously misunderstood what the dev meant, but I would definitely say a Fall 2011 or Spring 2012 launch is on the cards because it's far enough outside of the launch of the 3DS and they can see the consumer reaction to the price and adjust accordingly.
VGArabia is hardly what someone would call an expert at these things and they certainly aren't the most credible outlet for any information. That said, I still want the game because it looks like it will be awesome for a 3D Castlevania, can't wait until next week.
I don't even believe that since the game is 'Warped' not 'Warped in Time' and not playing any of the Jak and Daxter games is as much of a travesty as not playing any of the Uncharted games.
Really because I think he makes both of them, and Ken Kutaragi look like, pardon the language, fucking saints. Kotick is a piece of shit with a super inflated sense of self-importance. If he hadn't merged with Vivendi, they wouldn't be nearly where they are now, and without Infinity Ward they could see their sales of Call of Duty begin to decline. The only two franchises they can really rely on are WoW and CoD, everything else has taken very sharp downward trends and they will continu...
God of War 3 has crossed 2 million, it almost (probably is) past 3 million, so what the hell are you talking about!?
