This is excellent news and I haven't even finished the game yet. For a 3D Castlevania game it's fantastic but I would still like to see an HD sequel to Symphony of the Night.
Work starting on a sequel doesn't indicate release. The sequel likely won't come out until 2012.

Gran Turismo is huge in the EU regions so this isn't a surprise at all. I still haven't decided if I am going to get it or not because I may wait until after Christmas.

You can tell that they are nearing the end of the PSP life cycle because 3rd Birthday and Agito XIII look absolutely stunning for a handheld game. If I were a betting man I would say that the combat engine in vXIII is what we should expect in KH3 because it looks similar to KH/KH2 but probably much more refined. Even still the game looks sick and I can't wait to play it.
I think some of these people who are writing articles on this U-Verse thing are on drugs because U-Verse isn't a universal service. Where it's available is extremely limited comparatively to other services so either these people writing these pieces don't know what the hell they are talking about or they are just retarded.

Netlflix/Hulu + PS3 has, and HD voice chat, really, not a big deal. You can watch ESPN on cable, you know, the way pretty much everyone watches it. You can stream anything to a PS3, I use the PS3 Media Server which does on the fly transcoding of every single format available. Could you imagine playing a game like TvC or MvC and having to double jump to launch your character in the air!? That is, however, I would see them doing it were they to release a fighting game like that for Kinect and people would play it for three seconds and turn it off because it would be exhausting.
While I am not totally cool with the new look, I thought the trailer was awesome and will get the game. That said, all Ninja Theory does is run their mouths, either about how great they are or how shafted they got/get, that's why people get pissed at them. I loved Heavenly Sword despite it being one of the shortest games I have ever played, and will probably like Enslaved but Ninja Theory just needs to shut the hell up.
I have never read an article with my mouth hanging open before. I have no particular idea why that was the case while reading this one but it happened. The 3DS doesn't count because it's handheld, so it may be kicking off the next generation of handhelds but that's it because it has nothing to do with the home console market.
I will agree with those time frames as far as to say with Nintendo it's possible but whatever they offer as next-gen would be comparable to current PS360, so not really next-gen. You are drastically overestimating Kinect, it's success potential, and Microsofts willingness to rapidly reduce the price. The only way Microsoft will drop the price of Kinect and it's to $149 by this time next year is if it tanks. They are breaking even on Kinect at launch and the will need to sell as many of those as possible at the price for as long as the public will pay it, it's the same reason that Nintendo waited so long to drop the price of the Wii.
