This is baseless speculation at its finest since it's suggesting that because there is going to be KH3D that will lead KH3 to the Wii2. If that was the case then every game since the first one would have been on a Playstation platform because the first game was on the PS2. Not saying that a Kingdom Hearts game is out of the question on the Wii, but it's unlikely to be KH3 and if KH3 makes it to the Wii2 it will not be exclusive. Kingdom Hearts games have sold historically better, and ...

I think it's every 15 minutes but I could be wrong.

@kaveti

It's 2688, so not a lot at all.

Move = 1 million in a month, there is no concrete sell through data

Kinect = 475k in three days from a site that obtains data through extremely questionable means, hmmmm, something ain't right.

VGC is always wrong and in the business of fellating Microsoft. It doesn't matter who they say was outselling who, their numbers are always wrong, and these are just further proof of that.

That link is pure speculation on an analyst part, get a clue and learn how to read.

Microsoft is going to take this self-created sell-out opportunity to start reporting shipped numbers that include units in transit again. When they post their first month Kinect sales, the numbers are going to be much higher internally than what the retail realm and tracking companies come up with.

What the hell does Sony have to do with Kinect in this instance!? It's like the author wrote the piece so he could crap on Sony and Move at the end of it. And since the author is clearly an idiot, he should know that they all report shipped, Reuters said 'sold', and the console makers have no way to determine sell-through once it hits retail, except when things get ordered again. Shipped is sold to the console makers because they sell them to retail, learn how these things work or...

Microsoft as a whole probably doesn't but it's shareholders do consider the Xbox a resource, money gobbling failure.

Way to not know how to read, that's for the camera's and there are two in Kinect, so that makes seven million Kinects to be produced. There is no way in hell Microsoft would be dumb enough toproduce 7 million Kinects before launch and then ship them all. It might be selling out now but when these people get it home and find out they don't have the require space to play, there will be a very high rate of return, and that's just for people who don't have space for it not peo...

@kneon

Best Buy, in fact most retailers, don't typically keep a lot of additional stock allocations in the store room. That goes for just about anything they sell, and given the perceived demand for Kinect it's likely that they have all of them on the floor.

Another Gamasutra article that starts off talking about the Move and proceeds to rub off the Kinect, while pretending to chastise it. These guys really need to learn how to be more subtle and for a professional sales-type site, they should probably refrain from using the whole "Move looks like a sex toy" bit because it makes them sound like children as any adult would know that the Move would be a horrible sex toy.

Saying that the Move has flaws to justify Kinect...

Not only is everything you just said trolling the Move but it's immature and speaks to your ignorance of both the Move and sex toys in general. I thought the ball at the end of the Move wand was a bit ridiculous myself but it, for whatever reason, adds a very nice aesthetic to the thing. I also love how people like you act so elitist about not having to hold anything in your hand when you may have to rapidy move your arm in any direction because regardless of whether or not you are holdin...

No you didn't and no it doesn't. Seriously, there's no way anyone will believe a statement like that when there are currently only about three genre types that can be played with it and even those are limited in their scope. With the exception of Dance Central there isn't one game that moves a genre forward because of Kinect.

Also, are you going to be singing the same tune when you have you have to buy a controller to play games that have actual depth to th...

While the the orginal article may seem sketchy and poorly written, everything in it seems 100% plausible, so much so that I have little doubt that it isn't true at all, or that it's a complete fabrication. Some of the things are a little shaky but since we don't know who he talked to for the info, we don't know the role the person plays in the company so he may have been a bit overzealous when he spilled the beans. I don't think anyone on here would argue that they not onl...

Please, their decisions have been perfectly sound from a business point of view,and since they managed to actually, and significantly lower the cost of the console as quickly as possible I don't understand why people would still be up in arms over this. If you still have a bunch of PS2 games then why don't you still have a PS2, and if you do still have a PS2, why the hell does it matter if the PS3 plays them or not!?

So they haven't included x-game chat yet, bu...

I know people who still ave 4 yr old 60gb kicking around would disagree but I am conviced the the inclusion of the EE in the original PS3 models was one of the driving forces of YLOD. Right before my launch model died, the ability to play PS2 games did, and the same thing happened to my father in law. Cost, causing YLOD, and software emulation not being 100% were reason enough to remove it and I could care less whether they add it later or not since they are doing HD upgrades with trophies. T...

By the time this comes to market it will be too little too late for most of their core gamers and will just make a Wii or Move bundle that much more attractive. It doesn't matter how they cut it Kinect has to sell for $150 by itself and adding controllers to that will push it further out of consumer reach.

If Microsoft wasn't so concerned with crapping on Sony and trying to steal Nintendo's market share under the guise of innovation they would have waited a yea...

I'm sorry but that's just simply not true at all and I adored the first game. Don't get me wrong, I like the game and I think a 4.0 is way too low, a 6.5 would be more apropros.

The problem with the game is that for every improvement they made, they stripped away what made the first game so great. The story is extremely hollow and a lot of that is due to zero interaction with any NPC on your side for the first two worlds of the game. Then they trumpet the fact t...

@rob If SE didn't package the three of them together it would buck the trend and defeat the purpose of the remaster so they will most definitely do it as the sales would be insane for those three games packaged together. Those three games alone could end up the highest selling of any remaster's that get released.

5571d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

There is no guarantee that they will ever remake PSOne games in this manner because they would take more work. Any PS2 game that spans multiple titles is fair game though, so if SE is doing Final Fantasy it will be FFX/X-2/XII. If they are doing Final Fantasy then it's logical to assume they will do Kingdom Hearts as well and hopefully it will be the Final Mix versions.
