"Always nice to get in a mature discussion."
Likewise. :)
From Wikipedia:
"The game revolves around Raymond Bryce, a former US Marine and International Rescue Team member, now living the quiet life of a public servant. When terrorist organization SURGE (STORM in Japan) steals a nuclear weapon and kidnaps the sister of his late best friend, Raymond takes the initiative to go after the group while also trying to survive various natural disasters and threats such as earthquakes, tsunamis, floods, volcanoes and wild animals that the...
"How are sales the best measure for determining game 'quality'. You talk about 'popularity'... but are you really saying that it equals quality?"
Insofar as "quality" can be measured, yes.
Sorry if I was unclear with my statement, but I'll try to elaborate as best I can.
"It's a tough thing to argue any way I think because quality is many times a subjective thing. At least when it comes to video games. What's a quality ti...
"Let me say it again, 360 is a Flop! Ill explain myself before I get flamed. The 360 is looseing money hand over fist."
Can you source that? The latest I could find said the 360 was actually in the black the past year.

"For the 12 months ended June 30, the Xbox division raked in $426 million in operating profits ...
And in the grand scheme of thing, sales are all that matter, because they're indicative of things like popularity, which actually is the best measure available for determining game quality.
"I disagree because it's only been two years. They have plenty of time to turn a nice hefty profit."
Which makes you more optimistic than Sony's CEO.

"Not for as long as I live."
"Killing in videogames is not a sin"
Well, that's a relief.
No more lying awake at night agonizing over all the thousands of Goombas I've viciously crushed to death in Mario.
This would have been better if they'd just posted the original video instead.
William Buckley's back from the dead and reviewing videogames? Awesome.
Rather than asking whether or not the music was dubbed in, I think a more relevant question is why does anyone care?
I'm a little confused as to how Gunstar Heroes got on the list. So the three people with Mega Drives in the 90s liked it, it gets re-released a few times to average scores at best and it's over-rated?
That spot would have been much better served by a game like Ocarina of Time or Final Fantasy VII. Games that, y'know, people actually played.
"But to call it a game in our opinion makes the industry we love look VERY immature."
You know what makes the industry, not only of games, but of electronic publication, look very immature?
Writing ARTICLES with RANDOM use of ALLCAPS about nothing in PARTICULAR.
Wow, the PS3 *really* didn't do very well there.
Four hundred less sales and it would have been outdone by a last gen system.
As usual, this is a problem that stems from our ridiculous patent laws.
Basically, the way copyright stuff is set up, Hill Crest is required --by law -- to file against any potential claims that bear even the most passing of similarities to its stuff. This is not actually going to result in anything, because there's tons of differentiation, and Hill Crest *knows* they're not going to actually get anything against Nintendo.
But they *have* to do this, they have to...
Awesome news. Glad to see one of the titles I've been looking forward to seems like it's panning out well.
You do realize that using a proxy web site, let alone more than one, is to computers what unprotected sex with strangers is to people's bodies? You're going to get viruses if you do it long enough.
So, what exactly is Tatsunoko?
"do we really need another kirby game?"
Yes. Kirby games are awesome.
Also, they might finally inspire crackpot Jack Thompson to start arguing that videogames are inspiring the nation's youth to take up cannibalism.
I don't know quite what to make of this game, but it looks like a lot of fun -- just the kind of game I'm after.
A North American release? Excellent.
I just hope that A. the game is well-done and more importantly, B. that this is just the first of the various Wii games coming here after a Japan-release.
