Oh my, that's right, Chris Roper's the one that gave God Hand -- the Sistine Chapel of the 21st century -- a 3 out of 10. This news calls for celebration.
This is a step in the right direction. Now if only IGN would just fire the rest of their staff...
"That went exclusively to the Wii and didn't sell hardly anything."
That's what happens when a company refuses to release a game anywhere except Japan.
Rise from your grave, old CNET chart from 2008.

"Games like the Conduit... they all may get stellar reviews"
I assure you, games like The Conduit do not get stellar reviews.
"PS3 title right?"
At the moment, Tri is exclusive to the Wii.
Well, the idea that sales are down due more to a fall in demand than to shortages is pretty far-fetched, not the least because decreasing demand is by definition the force that corrects shortages when stores can't raise the price.
Incidentally, this is also why retailers that can raise the price do, which is why places like price grabber, compulus, or ecost are able to get away with selling the Wii at *well* over its regular list price.
And judging from his comme...
"Don't lie and tell me you've never seen any copyrighted material online, because everyone at one point have."
Classic strawman argument right there. 'I do it, so clearly, everyone does it!'
Most studies on the subject have found that the people who actually do that sort of thing comprise about two percent of the population at best. The people who trot out inflated numbers to try to make piracy look like this widespread epidemic tend to be companies lo...
"Sony has alot of studios that can make games that support Move. Plus there's all the 3rd party games that release on the PS3/360, and not the Wii. If Natal/Move get support from enough developers, they could easily have the better Motion control games line up"
Remember when those developers were doing stuff with the Six Axis and coming out with games like Flower and the Ratchet and Clank games, and then consumers went with the Wii line up instead? There's an importan...
It's a NES platformer that really wasn't all that distinguishable from the dozens of other platformers on the system save for the fact that it was produced by Gunpei Yokoi, who also produced the Metroid series.
Anything to get people to believe the whole 'Wii HD due out by Autumn 2010' theory, eh?
Live the dream.
Meh. Too much pining for information that everyone knows we're not going to be getting for months; not enough discussion of S&P 2.
Well, this certainly wins Most Insecure Comments Section of the Month.
"Nintendo dropped it's price creating increased demand."
Small correction: You don't increase demand by dropping price; you increase the quantity demanded by dropping the price. Increasing demand means that more people will demand a product at a given price, i.e., ten people want to buy Wiis for $250 vs. now twenty people want to buy Wiis for $250.
The increased demand was likely created by the release of NSMBW. All the price drop did was cause shortage...
"There were exercising games on the PS2 Eyetoy before the Wii.
In fact when I first saw Wii Fit, all I could think of was "Wow! They're basically making all the games that were also on the Eyetoy!""
That doesn't really mean much to the market as a whole, though. Say that to the general public, and their response would have been and probably will continue to be 'What's an Eyetoy'?
"There were motion controllers demoed on the...
I hate to break it to you, but the vast majority of these things probably aren't going to wind up on the PSN because the market these games are aimed at is not a market known for hooking up their consoles to the internet.
"not talking about entirely alienating 3rd parties from Move with WAY higher royalty fees than nintendo, just high enough so that theyll refrain from porting over every single garbage shovelware title theyved developed that may have completely tanked in sales"
Right, while everything that *does* sell in even modest numbers -- minigame collections, fitness games, pet care simulation, licensed games -- gets to come over.
"however i do foresee anothe...
"hopefully sony charges higher royalty fees than nintendo"
Yeah, that's not going to happen. Here's the thing: third party developers -- the same ones whose support Sony is pretty much banking whether Move lives or dies on -- don't appreciate that kind of thing. Biting the hand that feeds you and whatnot.
Let the good times roll.
