"Things like red dead redeption, etc. do not consume the industry. look at the splash made by god of war and final fantasy."
I'm not certain what you mean. It doesn't take that many 'big' titles to match the sales of one 'super big' title. If we assume that God of War 3 (currently at around one mill) will sell lifetime numbers similar to the previous iterations in the trilogy, then it's looking at about the same 4 million that GOW did and that GOW 2 did.
Well, they could have delayed it again (possibly for the third time, if some of the stories I've heard are true), but in two or three months, it would still be going against Lost Planet 2, Red Dead Redemption, 3D Dot Game Heroes, Mario, etc. They could delay it again, or delay it longer, but it's generally accepted that when a company has delayed a game that many times for that long, there's the risk of alienating the customers who were interested in the first place.
To be fair, the game was originally supposed to come out back in November or something, but Ubisoft decided that releasing it against Modern Warfare 2 and its ten-million in unit sales was probably worse than releasing it now.
The more likely obstacle to Red Steel 2's commercial success is the commercial success of Red Steel 1.
Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like... again?
Of course it is.
Sooner or later, all reviews and stories from Fox News's on this site end up with the same exact comment section.
Ironbeard always reminds me of those credit card commercials where the vikings ask people what's in their wallet.
"PSP [is] doing doing great"
Wow, any more spin on that statement, and it would go into orbit.
"Ugh it really sucks that nobody is going to buy this game"
On the bright side, when people like me finally work our way through all the other games coming out around this time, this game will be nice and cheap.
"But the motion plus won't solve the issue of your reticule suddenly jumping to the center of the screen"
How do you figure? If the problem is that the sensor loses track of the remote's position under certain conditions, then does it not follow that an accessory that allows the system to track the remote's position regardless of those conditions is the solution?
"it will just mean you can rotate faster."
And the player can rota...
"No I mean accuracy as in how precise the reticule on screen is"
Right, and if the Wii Remote is pointing at the corner of the screen and the reticule hiccups to the center of the screen, then it's not very precise.
"I also don't have the issue you're mentioning"
And I don't have an issue with walking up stairs, why should buildings need to have elevators and handicap ramps?
"There's a demo of Red Steel 2 wit...
"I was referring to people claiming that they should use motionplus to making pointing more accurate"
This might just be an issue of language, but I'm not certain what you mean by 'accurate'. If by accuracy you mean 'the cursor goes where you point the remote', then by definition, being able to point at the edges of the screen without running into the usual jumpy/blinky hiccups and cursor hang-ups is more accurate than the alternative.
If you point the...
"some people just plain don't understand the functionality of the Wii like the people who say developers should use motionplus to help with pointing.:S"
What? Of course Motion plus helps with pointing, in that it allows for vastly improved off-screen tracking. This means that one can point the cursor at the edge of the screen without causing it to spazz out and can point off-screen without the game losing track of the remote's position. That's what it adds to a game l...
"WTF Is Wrong With Sega?"
The answer one my colleagues in the industry often tells me is that Sega management is an old record player on an executive chair. Occasionally, the vibration from the music makes one of those plastic birds with a tophat bob forward and approve games.
'Hey, look, it's drinking the water! ---> Sonic and the Seven Gates!'
"It looks like this game is meeting expectations much more than the first one"
The first one, or as I like to call it, 'the one that NGamer gave a score of 90'.

It's nice to see that Chris Roper's spirit lives on.
Aw, snap.
One my colleagues once told me that Sega management is a Rage Against the Machine album playing on an old record player perched on an executive chair. Occasionally, the vibration from the backbeat makes one of those plastic birds with a tophat bob forward and approve games.
"Hey, look, it's drinking the water! ---> Sonic and the Seven Gates!"
I'll admit, I had/have my reservations about some of the design choices, but watching that... I'm filled with a large number of powerful emotions.
