And what about exclusives? PS5 has Returnal, Ratchet and Clank, Demon's Souls, Astro's Playroom and more. FH5 and Halo are also playable on Xbox One. Regardless of any of this both consoles will continue to be sold out through the Holidays so who "wins" will be determined by who has the better supply chain.

They are just cheap bastards that want more free games on gamepass what they forget is that the more time people spend playing free games on gamepass the less time they have for other games that you have to buy and so the entire industry suffers from poor sales as gamers are conditioned that games have no value outside of a subscription.

The only time this would have made sense was before Xbox launched. They could have bought Sega pre-Sammy acquisition and launched their new console with a huge stable of "first party" games. They could have even called it the Xbox or Dreamcast 2 or whatever they wanted but Xbox was just another way to get Microsoft into living rooms back then and they weren't about to splash out that kind of cash.
And a lose-lose for gamers and the rest of the industry trying to compete against Microsoft's unlimited pockets.
It does cost money. A dollar a month with the promo everyone has. Unless you use Bing search Microsoft points then it actually is free.
