@Yui_Suzumiya Dying light is a last gen game but is getting a locked 60fps edition for PS5. Dying Light 2 will also be 60fps on PS5. There isn't a native game I can think of that doesn't have a 60fps option on PS5 all while having more detail than Switch.
Some half assed mobile accessory won't give a good experience, won't be comfortable, won't fit multiple sizes of phones properly will add lag and won't draw positive attention to their brands. A dedicated streaming handheld wouldn't have to be expensive. All it would need is a fast wifi connection and good quality screen. They could probably make and sell it for $150. All the processing being done in the cloud would let them use a very low power and cheap chipset while at ...
Agreed. They would have had to completely remake the graphics like Demon's Souls to make Skyrim relevant again in 2021.(And improve the silly combat system)
Lots of people use their Switch at home primarily even in mobile mode. The world moves much faster than we remember it was only a few years ago that smart phones became ubiquitous. If you want to be a leader in technology you must introduce new technology before it becomes mainstream.
Switch. The best for FPS games? C'mon now. It can't even run turn based fps games at 30fps let alone a high quality fps at 60fps.
Even in the US mobile gaming makes a huge amount of money. Mobile gaming is about 90% gambling disguised as a video game however. Being successful doesn't mean it's quality.
Is that the mini game where people get up early to beat the crowd out of the parking lot?
If you can't stream from two sources at once you don't have fast internet. With fast internet everyone in your house can stream HD at once.
Because once you connect a controller those are no longer portable. Your statement also doesn't ring true for Playstation exclusives. Also if it's a wireless controller you're introducing extra latency.
Dumbest article I've had the displeasure of reading. Besides amazing exclusives and huge third party support there is nothing else they need and they already have both. They are outselling the competition and again nearly 2:1. It's always always, always been about the GAMES.
Dude. Play Detroit already. It's his best one.
It was different but it wasn't good. MGS2 came out at the same time and it was a much better game in terms of story, presentation, graphics, physics and especially gameplay. Also I would give ICO, Gran Turismo 3, DMC, FF10 and Silent Hill 2 GOTY 2001 long before GTA3.
Written English tip: When you write something that is obviously your opinion it's superfluous to state that explicitly.
So their plan is to convince people to play their games by selling merch? Okay...
"I swear I main Bass!!" 😅
If you need an article to tell you how to redeem DLC either you're not the brightest bulb in the bunch or the dev has failed.
They were some of the ugliest games on the system. The solid blocky hands were especially grotesque. The combat and aiming was seriously some of the worst I've ever suffered through. Even GTA5 has terrible combat. They just don't know how to make a fun game.
Switch is first and foremost a successor to the DS. It's a handheld that has the ability to connect to a TV. Nintendo has always preferred their handhelds because the development is cheaper and easier. They aren't interested in bleeding edge graphics at all. One look at any of their first party games or character designs and that is absurdly obvious.
I don't often quote the Bible but
"When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things."
End the Far Cry franchise for one. It's stale.
