In every single way it was better besides story. Of course, if you wanted something different compared to 3, I can see how people didn't like it. A two year difference in the release date is usually enough for me.
Vaas wasn't even the main villain. I actually liked 4 more because it was like 3 but better in every way.. besides story but Far Cry's aren't played for the story.
They had one good character in the whole story who wasn't even the main villain. If you compare a game with an actual good story, Far Cry 3 would be so far behind. The game is a good/gripping compared to other Far Cry games.
What if Sony, kind of knew that Insomniac LOVED Spider-man, so Sony just asked, hey what Marvel charterer would you want to make? I think we would love to do Spider-Man! Sony goes, you know what, we are going to make that happen so go for it!
They are bringing other characters to their game to play as, it would be cool if they add bosses from other games to fight against.

If we are going to honest with one another, how many times have we been to a video game website to watch one of their employees/reviewers play a game to only be not great at it? I have seen some footage of IGN playing and I just don't get...
I personally never shot a gun, let alone held a gun. I HAVE shot soooo many different weapons in video games lol.

Now they can make an original GTA game for this generation and then remake it for the PS5.
If the game is good, the game is good. You can't compare one game to another and say this game is bad because this other game has that.
Because shooting a real weapon is much harder (I think) than shooting one in a video game. Also, realistic doesn't always mean better.

That is the problem because the games that get showcased to the public are games that are usually the most violence. If you go and talk to random people on the street and ask them about Video games, they are going to mention, Battlefield, COD, Halo, GTA, Mario and a few others. Most of the games that are HUGELY popular are extremely violent games. Do you think people know about Flower? Or the countless of games that have an amazing artistic look and feel to them?

That is the only reason why I think it isn't because that is a big middle finger. Oh hey, you like the PS3 version and still play.... too bad, oh yeah by the way, we are making it on the PS4 but you have to have the PS4 version to play... Once again, I have no idea about the number of people who still play but no matter what it is a middle finger.
Or they don't want people to buy the PS3 version because it won't be compatible with the PS4 version so they don...

Your whole argument is about how we don't know what is actually going on when a delay happens. Even if the developers to say something, it could be just PR talk. You also have to remember what this is, this is entertainment, a hobby to us but NOT to the developers/publisher. This is their life and job.

Curious, before the internet, how (or if) did developers say a new game is going to be out? Also, were there a lot of cancellations and delays back in the day as well? I am 30 and I don't really remember checking too often. I would just go to a store, see what is there, if nothing is there, I won't get anything.

And the fact that these people seem to assume that PUBGs was the first battle royal game ever. We have countless of shooters that seem to be doing fine with the competition. All of sudden we have two whole games that do battle royal and for reason people think these two can't coexist.
I still want to see more about Death Stranding. I am absolutely excited to see what kind of game it is. Once again, I am also getting everything they mentioned as well. I know people always say multi-platform games are what sell more, which is obvious. The sad part is, that isn't even all of the games coming out soon on the PS4. I am a sucker I also get MLB the Show, I did skip last years so I am excited for this years.
