I do agree with you about about Killzone 2 remake but Sony commented how they don't want to compete with BIG franchises (COD, BF, and etc) in that genre. This was about a Socom remake and that is what Sony said about it. I really can't say they are wrong seeing how well they are doing this generation. They also had two failed Socom's last generation.
Killzone 2 would need some changes when it comes to the PvP. The spawning campi...

I do miss Killzone 2 PvP so much and one of the few games I platinum. Everything about that game was amazing. The PvP definitely had a learning curve. Not many people understood you need to crouch when you shoot. If you crouch you really don't need to ADS. I would love more Killzone.
I personally believe that the reason why is because Playstation Magazine had Killzone 2 on its cover with Halo Killer in the title. I don't think many people liked that kind of attack on Halo when Halo was in it's prime still. People had the idea this could be better than Halo when in reality, they are two VERY different shooters. I still think Killzone 2 was the best in the series. I know a lot of people hated the weight of the character but I loved it. The PvP needed some rework but...
The Order was a very fun game but the game was pretty short with not a lot of options to get through the game which is a bad design. When it comes to the stories, the characters, the mechanics, the cut-scenes and animations, it was all top notch. The game wasn't worth 60 bucks. If The Order 1886 went the Hellblade way that game would looked much better at a 30 dollar value. A lot of people looked the other way because 60 bucks was a pretty high price point for a 6 hours game and no reason...

The detail in the trailer look awful, the faces look soo weird and the atmosphere is terrible. I never understood the controversies with this trailer and actual game. I have had this talk with so many people back in the day. Since this game was advertised as Halo Killer in Playstation Magazine. Everyone was a critic when it came to this game. I felt I talked to people who never actually played the game because whenever I look at the demo trailer in 2005 I see ho...
Do people actually forget what the actual footage was in Killzone 2? It looked better than what they demo in 2005.
If they want to see that number go even higher, they should have come out 2 or more games that was made with Xbox one X in mind. They came out with a BEAUTIFUL console to be playing games from last generation. I love that concept but gamers want new experiences, it is a very simple concept that MS still doesn't get when it is their 3rd generation in this industry.
I really liked the concept of Double Agent though. I liked all 4 of them! Those WERE my stealth games back in the day. I am trying to get into the new Hitman game because I heard that was really good.
Destiny 2 had TONS of content! The problem was there was no end game grind or loot in general to actually play the content. When you can get ALL the loot in a loot base game, you know you have a problem lol
Are we all forgetting about last generation? The roles were reversed and MS said no to Sony.
I don't think it ruined them, they did give us 3 HUGE updates that were really really good. They have a 4th one that should be bigger than their last one so we will see.
I am too, I don't get like this often either. Every time I read an article for this game the developers say exactly the right thing and are doing exactly what I want in a game. I remember thinking, "it would be cool if GOW had optional bosses." A few weeks go by we find out there will be.
"Originality always triumps over a copycat halfassed work."
You do know the games that sell the most tend to be yearly release games with very little of originality. I am trying to think of a game that had tons of originality (not counting story) mechanically within their games that no one else had. I am sure there are some but you have to realized this WHOLE industry is about copying someone's work and adding your own flavor to it.
We have...
AND everyone else who is working on the game who most likely have families and bills to pay.
You people make me laugh, other developers do the exact same thing in the same genre but they don't get flack, some other developer who isn't popular gets the flack...
You have to remember what Battle Royal games actually are. They are Free for All games but on a much bigger scale. Free for all games are one of the most casual type of games you can have. You can drop in, die, leave, drop back in WITHOUT making other people upset since you are solo or with your friends. These games are perfect for the casual market and why they are so popular. COD is HUGE because you can hop in play a few games do well, WITHOUT talking to teammates or anything tactical and c...
Twisted Metal as well for Jaffe. Of course, not as big as GOW but still pretty big nonetheless. In all honesty, I feel like David Jaffe didn't follow the times with each new generation. He literally made a pay to win game for a PvP game and expected it to do well.
I just saw a few game play videos of it. I personally don't like Fortnite because I don't want to build a base in my shooters but that is just me, super fun game to watch though. I feel like this game is Fortnite without base building but a little bit more grounded like PUBGs. I will be interested to see where this goes.
I don't know how often developers lie, but we all see the aftermath of Hello Games and their lies. They are STILL trying to get past that hump.
You can say that for every multi-platform game that is out on PC.
