Ughhh, I know what you are saying and I know what Bungie is trying to do. Long story short, D1 catered to one particular group of people in D1. They had to make big foundation changes and cater to the other side. The future of Destiny has a series is much better to what it was. I wasn't even going to touch D2 because of how they handled D1. Bungie is in a very awkward state where the people who are upset are the Hardcore players from D1. They still have 800,000+ people on their game each ...

You make it sound something awful happened after the game came out. They had to put a new foundation in D2 because they saw (I saw it too) what happened in D1. Unfortunately, they had to go back to square one with this game. To give you an idea, Masterwork system is a much better system compared to the God Rolls from D1. I know the hardcore players loved them but a lot of people had horror stories for the certain one to drop. Soon everyone wanted the same thing. This is the stuff I want in th...

I said to myself, it isn't going to look that much better to the ps3 version. I only played it on the PS2. I watched the video and when Wander walked out of the castle and started walking outside, I was amazed! That looks absolutely gorgeous!

I will say yes, because of how cheap it is now (for PS3). Also, just because you know who did it, doesn't mean that you will catch the person(s)...

That whole FOB concept was a really cool concept which seemed like it took a lot of careful planning to actually make it work. I didn't realize how deep it was until I started understanding the concept. I always thought to myself how much time, resources, and money did the FOB use when it comes to MGS 5. That whole thing was super cool, but it was annoying that it was P2W, so I didn't think twice of it.

You are solely talking about yourself in this situation. That is like saying, taking tests is super easy, I have no problem with them so there is no problem. That maybe true for you, but I always have had a hard time with tests when I was younger even with subjects that I knew well. I actually tried to build a PC, I ended up doing something wrong, because the PC doesn't turn on anymore. I put a little over 200 dollars into it. I just wanted to play CS and I know I didn't need anything...

I feel like they always been profitable but once again, are you happy with MS so far? Personally, I am not, but yet they are profitable. The same concept with their phones, and MP3 player. Do they love the industry they are in or do they love profits?

Of course, every company loves a profit, common sense, but when it comes to Nintendo and Sony, you can see that they LOVE the industry as well as making a profit. It shows through their software. PS4 and Nintendo exlcusives a...

I thought marketing is part of that budget? I also remember hearing an interview during last generation about how marketing can be super expensive. That could have been just Halo, I remember someone talking about how expensive the marketing was for one Halo game.

If they sold The Order for 30 bucks, it would have sold much better because the main black lash of the game was that there wasn't much content and they were right. For 60 bucks you only got an 8 hour SP game with no reason to go back. The story is what sold me, they left that game open so badly! The ending made it seem it could go into an open world stealth game. Or just a stealth game in general, that would be soo cool. So much story to tell in that game!

A PS4 Warhawk would be awesome! They botched big time with Starhawk, cool concept but with random people in general it was hard to find a good game. It was either you were on the team who could make a maze to get to the flag. Or you were on the team that didn't do anything at all.

I actually just started playing Zelda, I am amazed at how good the exploring is, and the feeling overall. I just got the Divine Beast Mission and need to find Robbie to give you an idea of where I am.

The combat- Firstly, I am not attacking the enemies often because weapon durability is a joke. I can only kill a few enemies, weak enemies, with one weapon. Switching your weapons back and forth and making sure you have enough already is tiresome. I don't mind weapon dura...

I miss the days of when developers got super excited about new mechanics in a game instead of how big their open worlds are... Or how many weapons their game have or how many cars does the game have. We turned into an industry that just cares about numbers and how big something can be.

@Direwolf484

Can you name a game that they created (originally) that got critical acclaim, because I can't.

It is the same concept with Ready At Dawn and The Order 1886. That was their first real try at an original IP that they created. That game was decent but we all know what happened. It takes a lot to make a great original IP.

@LateNightThirst

My problem is that, I can't name a game where a developer took control of a franchise and made it better compared to the previous games from the original developers. There maybe are some but I can't think of any big games that has that happened to them.

@Obscure_Observer

Very easy to look it up nowadays!

I been saying since Bungie was still with MS and Epic was still doing Gears. I imagined Bungie talked to MS about making a new game because Bungie talked about a new IP for a while but MS always said no. When that contract came up, I am sure Bungie got up and left (the people who wanted to still work on Halo stayed). Just imagine if MS said YES to Bungie and renewed their contract and Destiny 1 AND 2 were Xbox exclusives!? If they really wanted to have another Halo, just add more employees to...

The game looks great, but I can't stand the hit detector! I am sure you can take it off but I hate how almost every game needs to tell the player, that you ARE hitting them.

You can say that about almost any game, Uncharted, go there, kill bunch of pirates or mercenaries go forward. The Division, Go there defend, move forward. That is the way of gaming since a long time. We don't get games like Goldeneye where you have to find the mission and do something particular to complete it.

Also, the PvP is hands down better than D1, D1 is more of a casual type game which is fine, so I expect more people to prefer it. They just need to add more gam...

@Visceral89

I don't know if you played Uncharted 3 when it first came out, but the shooting mechanics were AWFUL! They actually had to patch in a different version that were more similar to Uncharted 2 but you could only use it for the SP portion of the game. That alone killed the PvP. Also, the customizations and the unbalanced powers made Uncharted PvP a total nightmare. The set pieces were amazing, the plane is still one of my favorites! I personally, can't go on...
